When this card is Special Summoned: Special Summon 2 "Xtra HERO Kid Tokens" (Warrior/LIGHT/Level 1/ATK 300/DEF 300) to your side of the field. During the turn you activated this effect, you cannot Special Summon Monsters except "HERO" Monsters. You can only activate this effect of "Xtra HERO Kid" once per turn. ATK/300 DEF/300 So Xtra HERO Kid is a play on the original Hero Kid where this acts as a HERO Monster by name and can summon itself if you control no Monsters and generates 2 HERO Tokens for Link Summoning. In HERO Decks this card will be helpful in generating your Link 2 and 3 Xtra HERO Link Monsters and provide you materials for Fusion Summons. Effectively stopping you from making use of the 2 tokens effectively. (Unless ofc you use those two to make Xtra HERO Wonder Driver, which now that I think of it was probably the intent but still sub-optimal) Maybe instead have the TOKENS not be used for anything other than the Link Summon of an Xtra Hero monster? Their is also the Link 3 HERO in the Legendary HERO Decks to take into consideration as well with this where with itself and 2 tokens can basically make the Link 3 HERO easy. Answering this question, no (and this also applies to the other legacy Links we're getting in the Legendary Hero Decks). Earliest we can probably find out any of their effects is likely next month or something. === Outside of this point, yeah, you're basically stuck with Wonder Driver as your only option for Links. Yes, you can make that new Link 3 but until we know what its requirements are, can't say you can use these Tokens (and this) for it. Only other use for this is Shining fodder and that's assuming you find room to actually run him nowadays. You can't Mask Change the Tokens because MC sends to the GY, but this card can, and you can make Koga after you go into Driver first with the Tokens this generates. That's about it for the time being, unless Konami makes more HERO Links besides Wonder Driver and whatever the new one's going to be called.
