Thomas★Zero
Red D/D/D Dragon King - Scarlet Nova lv 8 DARK Scale: 0 Pendulum: You can send 1 "Dark Contract" Spell/Trap Card you control to the GY; Special Summon this card from your Pendulum Zone, then, destroy all other Monsters on the field and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of Monster destroyed by this effect x 500. You can only activate this effect of "Red D/D/D Dragon King - Scarlet Nova" once per turn. Fiend/Synchro/Pendulum/Effect 1 Fiend Tuner Monster + 1+ "D/D" Non-Tuner Monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned: you can banish 1 "Resonator" or "D/D" Monster from your GY; add 1 "Dark Contract" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate this effect of "Red D/D/D Dragon King - Scarlet Nova" once per turn. If this card battles a Defence Position Monster, inflict doubled piercing damage. When this card leaves the field from your Monster Zone, destroy as many card(s) in your Pendulum Zones as possible (Min. 1), and if you do, place this card in your Pendulum Zone. ATK/3000 DEF/2500 So this card acts as a combination of Reiji's D/D/D Monsters along with Jack Atlus's Red Dragon Archfiend. This card when synchro summoned allows you to search a Dark Contract by banishing a Resonator or D/D Monster from your graveyard and while on the field can inflict doubled piercing damage. If this card does leave the field it ends up destroy your Pendulum cards in your Pendulum Zones and placing itself in one of those zones. Next this card as a Pendulum can destroy a contract in order to not only summon itself back to the field but destroy all other monsters and deal damage equal to the number of destroyed monsters x 500 to your opponent which this is the part that reflects RDD in this card. In D/D/D Decks this would be a good Synchro for searching Contracts, dealing heavy damage and continuously returning to the field.
Arimetal
I've never seen D/D/Ds play Resonators. This might prompt it to be worth it though, considering Resonators are pretty generic. A dark hole that burns 500 to the opponent is really neat tbh. Also the search is pretty neat. Over all a really well rounded card.
