Ryusei the Morning Star
Normal Spell Pay 2000 LP, then target 1 “Photon” Monster in your GY; Special Summon both that target and a “Galaxy” Monster with the same level as that monster from your Deck in Defense position. Their ATK becomes 2000, but their effects are negated. You cannot Normal or Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this card except “Photon” or “Galaxy” monsters. You can only activate 1 “Galaxy Transer” once per turn.
Blake
It’s a 1-of. searchable off of Lord to better enable kills, but pretty mediocre T1.
Atypical-Abbie
Well, 2000 is a steep cost, too bad you are locked out from non-Photons, but they do have their own Link Monster and they don't really need others anyway, so probably not a big deal, doesn't say different name, so you can just bring out two Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragons, which is quite nice, since some Xyzs want the name, so that will help a lot here. I like this, because they don't have a lot of ways to get multiple out at once as easily as this, and it turns them into 2000 as well, so that's fun. I suppose the issue here is that's ALL you'll be doing with this card, as the only other level 8 Photon is Photon Caesar, and Photon Caesar is absolute garbage. The only thing that MIGHT be funny and cheesy is SSing Photon Thrasher and Galaxy Dragon, as the effect negation means the effects preventing them from attacking is nullified and thus they're free to attack whatever they want. Otherwise, the art of this card is literally telling you what to do with it: SS out Photon Thrasher and Galaxy Wizard to fart out Sol Flare Dragon. The alternative is farting out 2 GEPDs for Number 90. But as Black said you need to be set up first, and then have a very specific idea of what you'll be doing with the rest of your turn. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, as I haven't played them in a while, but I don't think this card is completely awful either.
The Warden
Thing is... if Galaxies had an archetype specific Foolish that was good, they'd be laughing with this card. As otherwise, you need to outsource means of milling GEPD from your deck, and the only typical ways of getting GEPD into your grave from your hand is Galaxy Soldier or Trade-In. Now if Galaxy Soldier searched Galaxy cards instead of just monsters, the combo potential with this card would be amazing; same with Photon Orbital being able to search Galaxy/Photon cards instead of just monsters. But sadly that's not the case. It's kinda funny in a way, in that Galaxys love having their sheet in the GY for stuff like Galaxy Zero, they just don't have efficient ways of doing it. But that is the gist of Photon/Galaxy/Cipher: They're schizophrenic in design and some of their cards gel about as well as babies and fire ants. DuosGuardian000
I have a question. So the scenario was I activated this, summoned "Photon Vanisher" and "Galaxy Wizard". Now, I know Vanisher's effect won't resolve due to the negation, but does the same apply to Wizard? Granted to activate his search effect he leaves the field, but does it carry out? I ask because I was recently dueling and the choice was either go for an Xyz summon and possibly win or activate Wizard's effect hoping it goes through; go for an even bigger Xyz; and definitely win, but my opponent quit before I could find out. And since the AI no longer exists, there's no way to even get used to the cards or do a trial run. Any insight would be helpful. Thanx. :)
