Atypical-Abbie
So they are ditching the Reincarnation Link Summoning? That's too bad, I wanted to see that be a thing. Well, there is some good, there is some bad, hurray for Cyberse Archetypes and Ritual Archetypes that are also Link based as well! It's such an odd thing, isn't it? Well, Rise is quite powerful in being able to shuffle back cards from the GY, you basically just make Link Monster as if you were a Link Monster Deck and than use your resources you used to Ritual Summon, so it's practically free, but of course that requires you to get them out, and well, we don't have much so far, though Foxy's GY Special Summon is quite nice. That being said, Eagle just seems not too overwhelming, if you want to use the strategy of using Link Monsters and the GY, you don't even get the best effect it has, and the other effect requires a Tribute, and that effect only lasts for a little while, and is not even all that amazing, so what's the point? Seems more like Heatleo will do the job so far, but maybe they'll impress us otherwise, as this is for a main character.

They ditched the term because it was wholly unnecessary, but the mechanic is still present. They'll likely have the field spell with its effect still present.
