When the equipped monster battles: Send the monster the equipped monster  is battling to the GY, and then send this card to the GY.

Wording's a little off. I think you meant "When the equipped monster battles". So you could just drop the "is" and be fine.

 

It's a neat little Equip Spell Card. Searchable by Hidden Armory, and brings down the opponent's monster. I would think though that if it is somewhat based on chain mail, it would equip to another monster, as opposed to going to the Graveyard. Perhaps you could have the option to do that if the equipped monster leaves the field.

For the most part, card is fine for whatever it does; in this sense, get rid of something without triggering any anti-destruction effects (and protection). Flavor-wise, it works by having the monster battle (though again, battle effects are somewhat outdated right now [but let's try to minimize talking about the meta in Casual, kay?]).

 

Going off Nyx's suggestion, it would improve its usability, but if it leaves the field and wasn't fighting something, then how would you propose having it get rid of something? As-is with requiring monster battles, it's good enough.
