So these 2 cards work side by side where Maiden can inflict piercing damage and burn for 400 each time piercing damage is dealt, then you can detach an Xyz Material so you have all of your other Monsters inflict piercing damage.

 

Next Smash doubles all piercing damage for the turn and if you have Maiden out gives it a ATK and DEF boost and attaches itself to it as a material so you can keep on giving your Monsters piercing ability.

 

In Warrior and Beast Warrior decks these card can create a potential threat with dealing heavy damage through your opponent especially if your opponent is running a defence focused deck like Ghostrick or Super Heavy Samurai that often leave their Monsters in defence position.
