Astro Dude
A lot of players went into depression when they first saw Aerith's demise. So why not for the remake, there be a sidequest to bring her back. It worked in Eternal Sonata with Claves, so why not? Here's the setup: There's a hidden area in the world where Midgar is, and in this area is the body of Aerith, who tells the rest of the party to gather the fragments of her soul. Once done, Aerith is back in the party, and her Exp is accumulated, and she has her equipment from when she died re-equipped. [spoiler now the ending]Aerith is onboard the ship and senses that Holy will not work, so she channels her spirit into the Lifestream to help Holy. So, what do you all think? LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Why not? Cause it, simply put, ruins the point of her dying and all the emotions from it. Bringing characters back to life is something far too many things do and it often feels cheap.

Astro Dude
Aerith may die in the end. Apparently controlling that much power will put an immense amount of strain on her, so much so that she'll die in the end.

If she would die in the end, then what would be the point of a sidequest to bring her back if she'd die again anyway?
