jabber2033
I fully believe this is going to be the best counter to Sky Strikers going forward, unless something better is released. Depending on how well SS does in the meta, I think decks are going to be main-decking this instead of siding. Discuss

goodfusion
Why use that when you can use Shared Ride Well, Shared Ride doesn't actually stop the deck doing its thing (aside from potentially drawing you hand traps), whereas Anti-Spell does. While drawing several more cards is awesome that might not be enough for weaker decks. Although you do also have to keep in mind that Anti-Spell Fragrance could work against you depending on the deck you're playing. You wouldn't want it in the mirror match for example. What makes Anti-Spell better than Imperial Order though?

No good player would continue to give their opponent cards, especially in a deck that cannot push out lots of damage fast. They both do the same thing essentially, except one gives you card advantage and doesn't also affect you negatively. Anti spell is better than imperial order because it is not limited and easier to play around with your own cards.

Anti spell is better than imperial order because it is not limited and easier to play around with your own cards. I'd say if you go first-which is the more optimal thing you're trying to go for, but that's mostly by chance anyways-Anti-Spell Fragrance is the better pick than Shared Ride. Ride ends their turn, Anti-Spell ends the entire freaking Duel, becuase Sky Strikers losing a turn of play on an established board is a death sentence. And in this 'one turn to kill the opponent, one turn for them to feel it" Two-Turn Kill format, speed is of the essence. 'Sides, giving the opponent cards is irrelevant if you've got your wincon out already (thx so much Konami for making the bosses combo starters, that wasn't poorly thought-out at ALL). S'half of why Maxx "C" got banned, Handtrap McFivehead and Friend being the other. You're likely right though, Krow-Shared Ride is good against Strikers and a far underused card in dealing with so much of the meta (kay, now I'm just ad-libbing here lol). It's that the speed most Duelists play to ensure Anti-Spell Fragrance'll be used more, optimal or not. Its the best going first, so its the common pick. (still want it banned though, for reasons Farfa elaborated here at about 6:55):

The only deck that is really using Anti-Spell is Altergeist, which lose to Sky Strikers anyways. Anti-Spell is 100% the lesser choice between itself and Shared Ride. A chained Hornet Drone or even a Normal Summoned Raye gives you Shizuku, which fetches you your Jamming Wave or Afterburner you can sit on till you grind it out, if you didn't even open one in the beginning anyways. Some people are main decking Typhoon which shits on Anti-spell. Others are siding/maining Twin Twisters and Cosmic which are also chainable to Anti-Spell. Yes, Anti-Spell does affect Brandish but in no way is it better than Shared Ride, asides from the fact that you cannot Ash Blossom Anti-Spell.
