cr47t
Ive been playing Blue-eyes for a while now at my weekly locals and I'm getting pretty bored. I always lose because I don't really invest in cards needed to make a deck good (my deck is basically 3 Blue-eyes starter decks mashed together with some decent extra-deck cards obtained via trading). Since I want to switch up my game, I was considering re-creating one of my favorite fun decks from the days of DN. It was a rank 10 engine that had only a few normal/set-able monsters (one of them being Esper Star Sparrow) and 3 Reasonings. It was so much fun pulling off these insane mills. I would order the cards again however I can barely remember any of the cards I used. So if some of you guys would help me build a deck list from the ground up that would fit this kind of deck. [spoiler=Some of the things I'm looking for]Some level of competency in this meta. Not something that will make wins super-easy, but enough so I can at least hold out (i.e. not always get crushed) against invested decks (Kozmo, etc.) and maybe win a match once in a while.Less than 40$ (or at most 50$) total to buy the cards. [spoiler=What I remember the DN deck had]3x Exodius1x Esper Star Sparrow 3x Reasoning 3x Metal slime thing (or whatever that level 10 trap-monster was called) The only one of these I know I have is 1x Exodius. I've been thinking of running some Timelords in the deck, or maybe some level 1 tuners and a Star Eater. But with DN gone, and my disdain for Konami's antics, I just don't know where to start in terms of deck building. Could some of you guys help me with this? Tinkerer
You might want to look in a different direction. Reasoning is @1, so it'd be tough to run a deck with that as the primary playmaker. You open to any other decks?

You open to any other decks?I mean, I am open to other decks or just improving the one I have now. However I do have a list of decks I'm not willing to use. These include Darklords, Infernoids, Nurse Burn, Invoked, etc. This is all because they all used at some point or another (either in TCG or OCG) used similar themes I've objected to in the past and still object to today. (Ive talked about this in the past.) WHat course would you reccomend?
Tinkerer
You could probably run some kind of Rank 10 Cyber Dragon build if you want to hold on to the Rank 10 aspect and, since you mentioned Kozmo, they should have a decent matchup against them. I mean, if you aren't opposed to trying to improve your deck, I'm sure that there'd be some way to strengthen what you have with the budget you've laid out. If you don't mind doing that, do you think you could post your decklist?
