Pot of Variety

[spell]

Excavate the top 10 cards of your Deck. If all of them have different names: Shuffle them into your Deck and draw 2 cards. If not: Send 1 of them to the GY and shuffle the rest into your Deck. You can only activate 1 "Pot of Variety" per turn.

Pot of Greed for highlander. That's the concept.

Thoughts/comments/suggestions/etc. all welcomed~

Damn, I freaking love this. Power for highlander, hell yesh! I was excited with the first effect alone, but the Foolish Burial-ish dual effect makes it even better and easily a potentially relevant card in the competitive scene. I dare say this effect overshadows the first one, if only because it's more generic. Why not grant both? Draw 2 and mill 1 if you are going highlander.

Why can't I give it 2 likes? I will like the next post you drop here.

Yeah that effect is kind of a Foolish Burial. I think a decent Foolish effect would be more fair with 8 excavations, but the draw effect would rather have like 12... I essentially got into a mid-range. I thought about maybe instead banishing instead of sending to GY.... Still thinking it'd be better if I did that.

The foolish is fine, IMO. It gives an application in non-highlander decks, and the more playability, the better. If it banishes it would still be handy in decks like Metaphys, Shiranui, etc. but the niche would be much smaller.Although that's not a bad thing.

Also, I take back the suggestion of getting both the draws and mill if you go highlander. Because on the off-chance you play this for the banish/mill and you get the 10 different cards, you would profit a bit too much.
