Ryusei the Morning Star
Born from DraconisNormal Trap-You cannot Special Summon other monsters the turn you activate this card.(1) Banish as many LIGHT Machine monsters from your GY or face-up from your field; Special Summon 1 Level 6 or higher LIGHT Machine monster from your hand, ignoring its Summoning conditions, also its ATK/DEF become 500 X the number of monsters banished, and if you do, it is unaffected by card effects, except for its own effects. Thomas★Zero
I guess this and Emergency Cyber are more so making themselves relevant to Cyber Dragons with these encouraging you to use Cyber Eltanin.
VCR_CAT
I guess this and Emergency Cyber are more so making themselves relevant to Cyber Dragons with these encouraging you to use Cyber Eltanin. There's nothing about this card that encourages you to use specifically Eltanin over other LIGHT Machine Options, such as using this to summon Jizukiru when you have ~10+ monsters in your grave so you can have a 5000+ unaffected monster that can't be Kaiju'd. Or, if that's too many monsters, you could be running a more dedicated Kaiju engine and use it to summon the Kaiju Anti-War Machine and equip a Jizukiru to it, though that becomes a bit more of a vulnerable setup. It's a bit of a meme card, and maybe it would promote more Network use, but I think Jizukiru is the best way to both use this card and not have to effectively run a bunch of stuff you can't otherwise use or use well. Dokutah
At least this did push incentive to try those alternative main deck Cyber Bosses which gladly not just Eltanin as it did in manga. protection is nice, stat changes seems easy to deal i guess? EDIT: Nevermind the Cyber Bosses Eltanin and Jizukiru still best targets
Darj
Grab this with Lilith --> resort to mass-milling strats --> play this, Summon Jizukiru --> win? Bonus if you mill Slumber and you grab Jizukiru next turn with its GY effect. I wonder how Draconis and the constellation in the artwork is associated with LIGHT Machines. On the same wavelength, I wonder what a jet-plane being chased by dragons has to do with Cyber Dragons. A number of these Kaiser cards don't... really make sense artwork-wise. Dragulas
This makes me think even more that they are planning to release a Nomi/Semi nomi LIGHT Machine, I don't think Eltanin is enough to justify this card design (I am ignoring the other targets because the former is the closest to cyber dragons). Thomas★Zero
i believe there 1 cyber card that depict dinosaur being torturously turned into new cyber dragon? I would believe your referring to Cyber Dinosaur which is a Level 7 LIGHT Machine with 2500 ATK that special summons itself when your opponent special summons a Monster from the hand. Still as mentioned Eltanin and Jizukiru are the best targets for this card.

Ryusei the Morning Star
Cyber Eltanin also nukes the board and can't be stopped by Strike

vla1ne
also its ATK/DEF become 500 X the number of monsters banished, well, whatever you summon, so long as the effects are good, the ATK will not matter. having anything with good effects will turn it into an untouchable boss. seeing as it was made for eltanin, i'd say it's among the best ones to use. jizukiru feels like a waste to me, yeah, it can't be kaiju'd, but giving up your own kaiju for said monster.. doesn't sit well with me. i get why you'd do it, for the beefy beater who can't be removed easily (by any means), but its one hell of an expensive play. you'd need to remove 7 monsters just to get him back to where you started, though i suppose it is cyber dragons, 7 machines in grave isn't really all that hard. Think of it this way: with other options, you will often have a mediocre card on its own, that can combo with a trap card to become a powerful boss. Jizukiru, on the other hand, still acts as removal on its own, while becoming a win condition with this. And honestly, 6 monsters banished is enough to almost certainly win. 7 and you're set. UTL is not a very prevalent tech right now, so Jizukiru with 3500 or more ATK is basically unstoppable.
VCR_CAT
I pointed out Jizukiru because it's already a card the slots into Cyber Dragons so very easily and has uses beyond being used with this trap. Running something like Astro Mekanikle instead just means you have a card sitting in your hand that otherwise does nothing, and the same goes for pretty every level 6 or higher LIGHT Machine. Black D'Sceptyr
I'd favor Eltanin over Jizukiru with use of this, for one primary reason only; the nuke effect. Non-targeting non-destruction mass removal is never not good, especially in the era of 'breakmyboard.meta' and especially in regards to Cyber Dragon's otherwise schizophrenic defensive style. Yes, its a Trap, and yes, it can be forced, but when your board is good (and if you're up first how would it not be with all the search we've got now) often times the opponent's just as wary of the Set cards as they are the frontline monsters in Cyber now-especially with Overflow being a thing and their banishment game actually going to a good cause with Cyberload Fusion. Eltanin could have 500 ATK when Born from Draconis puts it on board, but ATK value doesn't matter if your opponent has nothing on THEIR field to get over it. Darj
Why not both?If your win condition is this, makes sense to me to run both Eltanin and Jizukiru. The former, as you say, for the nuke, and the latter is tougher to kill, and searchable by the GY effect of Slumber. Both are useful when you don't have the Trap on hand, too. shadowsapex
The name hella confused me, because according to lore, Chiwen of the Yang Zing was born from Draconis.
