Ryusei the Morning Star
CP18-JP012 鉄の檻 Tetsu no Ori (Iron Cage)Continuous Spell CardYou can only activate a card with this card’s name once per turn.(1): When this card resolves: Send 1 monster you control to the GY. If “Golden Castle of Stromberg” is in the Field Zone, you can send 1 monster your opponent controls to the GY instead.(2): During your Standby Phase: You can target 1 monster in either GY that was sent there by this card’s (1) effect; destroy this card, and if you do, Special Summon that target to your field. The Highlander
Non-targeting removal that summons the monster if it survives a turn, also demanding removal to stop the second (+1) that would let this end at a (+1).Sounds good on paper, though it is dead turn 1, then again for slower decks it works and the whole Fairy Tail deck appears to either be an engine or a Card of Demise deck. Tinkerer
...or a Card of Demise deck. Can you explain this?
The Highlander
Can you explain this? It was just a feeling, if anyone would try to use them as a "pure" deck they need a lot of additional control. In that case (and due to the fact that the bird can tutor the field spell) the deck would propably be able to drop the same amounts of monsters (trude's normal summon effect also helps) in either case and due to the fact that they could only drop 1-3 monsters each turn anyways they would not be hurt by playing a low monster count. I guess, but then you'd be giving up on the deck's main playmaker since castle locks you out of NSing and CoD locks you out of SSing. You'd have 2 powerful cards, but I think each one undercuts the other's usefulness, unless the goal is Trude beatdown. Not sure how practical it'd be tho. ...admittedly, can't think of anything better though if you want to run the deck as pure as possible. ~~~~~~~~ This card is good for the deck; free non-targeting, non-destruction removal. There's just no practical way to search it out and it functions as a turn 2 card, so I guess it isn't the most reliable thing. I mean, you can hit your own monster to trigger its on-summon effect a second time, but your opponent will likely just pop this before then if you do so. Further, if they pop Stromberg before this card resolves, you'd be forced to hit your own monsters, so that's not fun either. Something something silly applications with Shadow Mist ~~~~~~~~ Are there going to be any other cards for Leon released in this pack, or are the numbers showing this to be it?
