WaffleBOI
I was trying to come up with some archetype that could somehow slow down how fast your opponent puts monsters on the board. The Gelid monsters all rely on being in Defense so other cards can activate effects. The effects mainly read "Change 1 Defense Position "Gelid" monster you control to Attack Position" or "Change the battle position of 1 monster you control" and they negate the effects of monsters while maling them almost unusable. Mainly consist of Level 7 monsters with the 2 Level 4 monsters searching and such. Gelid Armored Golem: Level 4 WATER Rock/Effect 1600/2000If this card is Normal or Special Summoned in Attack Position: Change this card to Defense, also add 1 "Gelid" card from your Deck to your hand. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: Change 1 Attack Position "Gelid" monster you control to Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Gelid Armored Golem" once per turn. ________________________________ Gelid Mage: Level 4 WATER Spellcaster/Effect 1500/1900 Once per turn: You can change the battle position of this card; add 1 "Gelid" Spell/Trap from your Deck to hand. You must control a face-up Defense Position "Gelid" monster other than this card to activate this effect. ________________________________ Gelid Beast of the North: Level 7 WATER Beast/Effect 1900/2300 You can Special Summon this card by changing 2 face-up Defense Position "Gelid" monsters you control to Attack Position. When this card is Special Summoned: Change the battle position of 1 monster you control, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; its effects are negated, also it cannot attack or change battle positions as long as this card remains face-up on the field. You can only use this effect of "Gelid Beast of the North" once per turn. ________________________________ Gelid Dragon: Level 7 WATER Dragon/Effect 2100/2400 You can Special Summon this card by changing 2 face-up Defense Position "Gelid" monsters you control to Attack Position. When this card is Special Summoned: Change the battle position of 1 monster you control, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; its effects are negated, also it cannot be Tributed as long as this card remains on the field. You can only use this effect of "Gelid Dragon" once per turn. ________________________________ Gelid Great Giant: Level 7 WATER Beast/Effect 2600/2700 You can Special Summon this card from your hand by changing 2 face-up Defense Position "Gelid" monsters you control to Attack Position. When this card is Special Summoned in Attack Position: Change this card to Defense Position, then target 1 card your opponent controls; its effects are negated, also it cannot be used as Material for a Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Summon as long as this card remains on the field. This card cannot be change to Attack Position by card effects the turn this effect is activated. You can only use that effect of "Gelid Great Giant" once per turn. _________________________________ Geliformation: Normal Spell (This card is always treated as a "Gelid" card.)Special Summon 2 "Gelid Crystal" Tokens (Level 1 / WATER / Rock / Normal / ATK 300 / DEF 1000) to your field in Defense Position. They cannot be used for a Link Summon and are destroyed during the End Phase. You can only activate 1 "Geliformation" per turn. ________________________________ Strike of the Gelid: Quick-Play Change 1 face-up Defense Position "Gelid" monster you control to Attack Position, then target 1 monster your opponent controls: Destroy it. You can only activate 1 "Strike of the Gelid" per turn. _________________________________ The Gelid Age: Field Spell All "Gelid" monsters you control gain 300 DEF. If a "Gelid" monsters changes battle position: Draw 1 card. This effect can only be used twice per turn. It needs work. I don't know if I might have to change Beast of the North and The Gelid Age's effect. I will just leave that up to what you guys think
