Each time a Spell Card is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on this card when that Spell Card resolves (Max 5). Once per turn, you can remove 1 Spell Counter from this card: Special Summon 1 "Celtic Guard" monster from your hand or deck. If this card is in the GY, except the turn it was sent to the GY; when a "Celtic Guard" monster you control is sent to the GY by an opponent's card or effect: You can Special Summon this card.

Oh, wow another colored Skilled Magician. I was curious on which archetype this one would support, and it's somewhat fittingly considering that Celtic Guardian is often compared to Link, and Link mainly wears the green color.

This differs from the other Skilled Magicians: doesn't need as many Spell Counters, doesn't Tribute itself as cost for the effect, and the GY effect is much different and IMO better compared to the mere +1 Spell Counter. Normally I would suggest to retake some of the standard traits of Skilled Magicians, but considering the section this card was posted in, I guess it doesn't matter.
