So these new Ice Barriers help the theme with getting more Monsters out to set up for Extra Deck plays and locking your opponent out where Azurelite acts as the key to the deck as it can summon a Level 3 or lower "Ice Barrier" from your deck and a "Ice Barrier" from your hand granting you set up with the Synchro and Link Monsters.

 

In addition Ice Barriers have new Link Monsters in the form of Frost Princess which can return all of your opponents spells to the hand and get a token if a Ice Barrier Monster is summoned to a Zone it points. This allows you to ladder up into Lord which can protect Monsters it points to and while their an Ice Barrier in a zone it points to it cannot be destroyed by battle or effects but when it leaves the field it can generate a Ice Barrier Synchro by banishing the materials from the grave.

 

Next we go onto the Synchro's which Fenrir acts as a multi attacker which can return a Ice Barrier Monster to your hand to give itself protection for a turn and Ymir which shuts down all non Water Monsters and when it leaves the field brings out 3 Level 4 or lower Ice Barriers including 1 Tuner so you can set up for another Ice Barrier Synchro.

 

Finally we go onto the Spell and Traps starting with their field spell that grants ATK/DEF for each continuous "Ice Barrier" Spell/Trap on the field while also protecting them. In addition to this the Ice Barrier Spell and Traps also help with locking your opponent out of attacks and targeting, lowering their ATK and DEF and with pathway as a means to get more monsters on the field while allowing your Level 2 or lower Ice Barriers to attack directly where they also have Casting as a means of searching those continuous Spells as well.

 

Snowfal, Snow Spirit of the Ice Barrier

Aqua/Tuner/Effect

If you control only "Ice Barrier" Monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. you can only Special Summon "Snowfal, Snow Spirit of the Ice Barrier" this way once per turn. While you control this face-up card, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects that would add a card from their deck to their hand.

Frostberg, Guardian of the Ice Barrier

Warrior/Effect

When your opponent targets an "Ice Barrier" Monster you control for an attack, you can change the target of that attack to this card. Increase this cards ATK and DEF by 300 for each "Ice Barrier" card you control.

Azurelite, Summoner of the Ice Barrier

Spellcaster/Effect

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower "Ice Barrier" from your Deck or GY to your side of the field, then, you can Special Summon 1 "Ice Barrier" Monster from your hand. Your opponent cannot target "Ice Barrier" Monsters you control for attacks except "Azurelite, Summoner of the Ice Barrier".

When this card is Link Summoned, you can send all Spell/Trap cards on your opponents side of the field to their hand. Your opponent cannot activate card effects in response to this effect. When a "Ice Barrier" Monster is summoned to a Zone this card points to, Special Summon 1 "Ice Coffin Token" (Aqua/WATER/Level 1/ATK 1000/DEF 0). This Token cannot be tribute for a Tribute Summon.

Monsters in Zones this card points to cannot be targeted for attacks and are unaffected by your opponents card effects. While you have a "Ice Barrier" Monster in a Zone this card points to, this card cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects. When this card leaves the field, you can banish 1 "Ice Barrier" Tuner Monster and up to 2 "Ice Barrier" non-Tuner Monster(s) from your GY; Special Summon 1 "Ice Barrier" Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck to your side of the field whose Level is equal to the combined Level of the banished Monsters (this Special Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon.) You can only activate this effect of "Antarctican, Lord of the Ice Barrier" once per turn.

1 "Ice Barrier" Tuner Monster + 1+ non-Tuner Monsters

This card can make attacks during each of your Battle Phases up to the number of "Ice Barrier" Monsters you control. Once per turn (Quick Effect): you can return 1 "Ice Barrier" Monster except "Fernier, Wolf Deity of the Ice Barrier" from your side of the field to your hand, this card is unaffected by your opponents card effects.

Ymir, Ice Titan of the Ice Barrier

Aqua/Synchro/Effect

1 "Ice Barrier" Tuner Monster + 2+ non-Tuner Monsters

While you control this face-up card, the effects of non-WATER Monsters on the field are negated and non-WATER Monsters cannot attack. When this card leaves the field, you can special summon 3 Level 4 or lower "Ice Barrier" Monsters including 1 Tuner Monster that were banished and/or from your GY to your side of the field but their effects are negated. You can only activate this effect of "Ymir, Ice Titan of the Ice Barrier" once per turn.

Field Spell Card

Increase the ATK and DEF of all "Ice Barrier" Monsters on the field equal to the number of "Ice Barrier" Continuous Spell/Trap cards you control x 300. Your opponent cannot target or destroy "Ice Barrier" Continuous Spell/Trap cards you control.

 

Casting the Ice Barrier

Spell Card

Add 1 "Ice Barrier" Continuous Spell/Trap card from your deck to your hand. You can only activate "Casting the Ice Barrier" once per turn.

 

Multi-Layered Ice Barrier

Continuous Spell Card

While you control 3 or more "Ice Barrier" Monster your opponent Monsters cannot attack and your opponent cannot target "Ice Barrier" Monsters you control with card effects. During your Main Phase: you can banish this card from your GY; add 1 "Ice Barrier" Spell/Trap Card from your deck to your hand. You can only activate this effect of "Multi-Layered Ice Barrier" once per turn.

 

Pathway through the Ice Barrier

Continuous Spell Card

You can Normal Summon 1 "Ice Barrier" Monster in addition to your Normal Summon/set (You only gain this effect once per turn.) Level 2 or lower "Ice Barrier" Monsters you control can attack your opponent directly.

 

Frigid Outer-Layer of the Ice Barrier

Continuous Trap Card

Reduce the ATK and DEF of all Monsters your opponent controls equal to the number of "Ice Barrier" cards on the field x 200. When this card leaves the field, increase your LP equal to the number of "Ice Barrier" cards on the field x 200.

 

Trapped within the Ice Barrier

Continuous Trap Card

Target 1 Monster your opponent controls, while you control this face-up card its ATK and DEF become 0 and its effects are negated. You must control an "Ice Barrier" Monster to activate and resolve this effect. When the targeted Monster leaves the field or you do not control any "Ice Barrier" Monsters, destroy this card.
