Clear Vice Dragon

Dark / Dragon / Level 8 / ? attack / 0 defense 

 

You are unaffected by the effects of "Clear World". If this card attacks an opponent's monster, the ATK of this card becomes twice the ATK of the attack target, during damage calculation only. If this card would be destroyed by an opponent's card effect, you can discard 1 card instead. 

 

Clear World 

Spell - Field 

 

During each of your End Phases, pay 500 Life Points or destroy this card. Each player receives certain effects, depending on the monster Attributes they control. LIGHT: Play with your hand revealed at all times. DARK: If you control 2 or monster monsters, you cannot declare an attack. EARTH: During your Standby Phase: Target 1 face-up Defense Position monster you control; destroy it. WATER: During your End Phase: Discard 1 card. FIRE: During your End Phase: Take 1000 damage. WIND: You must pay 500 Life Points to activate a Spell Card. 

 

Probably not too competitve, but it would be pretty funny to see this get played against a Sentouki ( brandish, sky striker, something like that ) player and have them discard, burn, or pay to activate their spells. Clear Vice Dragon seems like a funky tech in blue eyes, you can send it from the deck to grave with dragon shrine and number 95, revive and protect it with return of the dragon lords, things like that. Seems pretty interesting. Any thoughts?

Most of Clear World's effects are easily played around because either they kick in during certain phases or are relatively innocuous.

 

Clear Vice Dragon is more interesting, but its battle effect only applies when it attacks so it can be run over pretty easily. It has a lot of competition as far as dumped dragons go what with Destrudo, Darkwurm, Darkest Diabolos, etc.
