Dokutah
Retro-Vert TechnicianEARTH / Link 3 / Cyberse / Link / EffectTop, Bottom Left, Bottom Right 3 Monsters with different namesThis card cannot be used as Material to Summon "Retro-Vert Technician". This card original ATK is always equal to this card Link Rating x800. You can also Link Summon this card using any number of Link Material. And if you do, Link Rating of this card becomes equal to the number of Material used to Summon this card. Also, Either player can only control monster(s) on the zones this card points to up to number of Material used to Summon this card. ATK ? the initial idea behind this being a flexible Link Monster that you can use for any level of your investment like use 1 material for Link 1 and so forth. but you can also use this card offensively using its zone lock effect -which beware, also double-edged against you if your opponent can conduct a Quick Effect summon on his pointed zone effectively also locking you

Darj
Not a fan of the concept. First, I see a flaw in that drawback. Since this card can take a any 1 monster as material, should your opponent block you by summoning a monster during your turn, you can Link Summon a 2nd copy of it and place it on the other EM Zone if available. And although you can patch this with a "you cannot use Retro-Vert Technician as material for this card" clause, there is another thing that bugs me: it also turns any 1 monster into a 2400-ATK beater. Doesn't feel fair to me. How about using it to turn a floater into this? In other words, the summoning requirement is a bit too generic, IMO. You can try to fix it by making its ATK vary depending on the # or materials used, but still the ability of using it for any monster may be problematic, IDK. I mean, Linkuriboh does wonders and its bound to Level1 monsters, now imagine one that can take pretty much anything.
