Benachu666
So had a simple idea for a monster: Time magi***Atribute: light type: spellcastersAtk: 500 def: 200Effect; when this monster is summoned: banish the top card of your deck face up: until the end of the turn you may play that banished card as if it was in your hand. Thoughts and critics welcomed.
SkaterTheDJWolf
The wording is a bit too... imprecise for Yu-Gi-Oh. "Play the card as if it was in your hand?" I know the book says that the cards override the rules, but I don't think you can use that. Maybe instead of the current effect, you can use: When this card is Summoned: Banish the top card of your Deck, face-up; Add it to your hand, but if it is in your hand during the End Phase, banish it. The effect still works the same, but different enough to be used in a Duel. Even with this, I suggest just making it a free +1 that adds the top card of deck to hand (or just draws) without overcomplicated banishenanigans. We could need something like that. Although you might have to put a HOPT and other drawbacks/limitations/conditions on its effect to prevent abuse by Special Summon Spammers. Benachu666
sorry for the lat reply but straight to the point; when i look at it a second time it is a bit broken and the effect wording could be altered as well. the original idea came from what was written on mtg cards where the card would remove another card from the top of the deck from play and then allow you to play that removed card until the turn ended. plus yes i will agree spamming is a problem so maybe this wording; ''when this monster is normal summoned banish the top card of your deck; until the end of the turn you may play that card from your banished pile.
