Eh.....i dunno. You do need a monster on your field and your opponent needs at least 2 face-up in order for it to work. Not good, IMO.

Too situational and not much you get as a reward for finally activating it.

This is what would happen if you took Widespread Ruin, made it destroy the weakest monster instead of the strongest, and made it unplayably situational.

The card still isn't good, but you're wrong.

 

It can be used to destroy 2 monsters on the opponent's field, stop an attack, OR destroy 1 monster your opponent controls and inflict damage to their Life Points. Which could possibly be a lot.

So you never attack when there's a face-down? Then what's the point of actually owning the trap cards? You could just put a ton of bluff cards in your deck.

okay 2 card combo that is better than this and you draw 2 cards offerings to the doomed (skip next draw phase) and reckless greed (skip next 2 draw phase)
