Miniborrel Dragon DARK Dragon Link Effect Monster 800 ATK / Link-2 (Left, Right) 2 "Rokket" monsters -You can only use this card name's effect once per turn. (1) If you control a "Borrel" Link Monster, while this card is in the GY: You can Tribute 1 Link-3 or lower monster; Special Summon this card, but it cannot be used as Link Material, except for the Link Summon of a monster with the same Link Rating as the Tributed monster. The Highlander
If I may ask: What is the source ?The images appear to be legit, I would just like to know. As for the cards themselves, Borrelsword Dragon looks amazing, having solid link marker positions and being the battle form of borreload, until the former this is not able to dodge targeting and steal monsters, however is able to attack twice (the second time boosted), with the second attack being a possible direct attack with 4k+ ATK.(Also its destruction protection got improved from the anime version, not to mention it steals ATK prior to its attack). This appears to be an interesting addition, given that this is the offensive form of Borreload Dragon. Miniborrel looks bad, it does not even allow the usage from the anime, its summon effect should really be a quickplay effect and it should allow tributing a link 3 to use it to go into a borreload monster, which it does not allow, I am not sure how it is supposed to be worthwhile for anything at all.At the very least it has ideal link markers for being revived, though the restrictions kill it. ~British Soul~
You can Tribute 1 Link-3 or lower monster; Special Summon this card, but it cannot be used as Link Material, except for the Link Summon of a monster with the same Link Rating as the Tributed monster.[spoiler=Spoiler]Oh boy, so we basically cannot do the thing that Revolver did in the latest episode with this thing (sheet out more Link 4s). The restriction kinda hurts it to be perfectly honest. As for Borrelsword, I like that they buffed it to be unable to die in battle, period rather than the first time that turn, In addition to having the ATK steal when it attacks rather than after the battle and giving it a bit more protection (in the form of making the 2nd attack unable to be responded to unlike in the anime). All in all, pretty good card I reckon. On another note, the slots gave me a little headache given they're both Revolver cards, especially since Borrelsword isn't a cover card. Premier Alexander Romanov
Miniborrel looks bad, it does not even allow the usage from the anime, its summon effect should really be a quickplay effect and it should allow tributing a link 3 to use it to go into a borreload monster, which it does not allow, I am not sure how it is supposed to be worthwhile for anything at all.At the very least it has ideal link markers for being revived, though the restrictions kill it.Actually, the effect you saw was a mistranslation. The actual effect of Miniborrel allows for you to use it as a Link Material for any Link Monster except a Link Monster with the same Link Rating, making it ideal for laddering, especially with so many ways of getting Rokkets on the field now. So you can go all Revolver and use this guy for a Link Summon, steal an opponent's Link with Borreload, and then during the Main Phase 2, Tribute it for Miniborrel and Link Summon again. As for Borrelsword, they MASSIVELY improved it. Instead of being immune to battle destruction once per turn, it can't be destroyed by battle period. Its position change effect, like Borreload's stat decrease effect, can be used on any monster as a Quick Effect, so you could use it in response to an opponent's attack to stop them from attacking. And its Riryoku-like effect triggers on the declaration of an attack, instead of if it survives an attack, which is much more useful.
Expelsword
Borrelsword is cool. It's like a modern day Junk Gardna meets Riryoku. I think it can be used to out Ultimate Falcon, right? The gain isn't contingent on whether you can reduce the other monster.
