Certain sites do not permit hotlinking of their images (or it just works awkwardly on YCM's direct image URL thing). You may want to retry reuploading the image to Imgur and getting the URL from there. (Though, did you make sure that the address ended with a valid picture extension like .jpg, .png and so forth?)
