Mr. Best Male 2008
Monsters: 11 Amano-Iwato x3Maiden x3Master Peace x2Inspector Boarder x2Ignis x1 Spells: 19 Dragonic Diagram x3True Draco Heritage x3Disciples of The True Draco x3Card of Demise x3Terraforming x3Pot of Duality x2Pot of Desires x2 Traps 10: Anti-Spell Fragrance x3True Draco Apocalypse x3Monarchs Erupt x2Solemn Judgment x1True Draco's Return x1 Side: 15 Ra - Sphere ModeCosmic Cyclone x3Rivalry of Warlords x3Solemn Scolding x2Solemn Strike x2Solemn Warning x1 Amano-Iwato: Cannot be Special Summoned. Monsters cannot activate their effects, except Spirit monsters. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Normal Summoned or flipped face-up this turn: Return this card to the hand. This card is amazing. I actually wrote an article on this card and other normal summonable floodgates back in full power Spyral Format but I never got around to publishing it. Amano-Iwato protects me from getting hit with hand traps. If you wanted to Ash Blossom my Card of Demise well funk u buddi. Amano-Iwato is also very handy at helping to break gross boards that Pendulum Magicians, ABCs, etc can toss out. Normal Summon him and I can freely summon my True Dracos and pop their monsters with my traps when they are tributed. He always comes back to the hand as an added funzo. I'm playing him at 3 because I want to see him as much as possible and he is a great card for going second. Inspector Boarder: Like Amano-Iwato except not as good going 2nd and pretty good going first because he stays on board. He's not as great against Pendulum Magicians due to them being able to summon out monsters very easily that enables them to activate their monster effects. Inspector Boarder is fine to drop on the field and pass vs ABCs. Also good vs Dinosaurs but they can sack with Giant Rex. I only play 2 because I don't want to open him and Amano-Iwato at the same time and he is the lesser of the two. Master Peace: To Tribute Summon this card face-up, you can Tribute Continuous Spell/Trap Card(s) you control, as well as monsters. Unaffected by the effects of cards with the same card type (Monster, Spell, and/or Trap) as the original card type of the cards Tributed for its Tribute Summon. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if you control this Tribute Summoned monster: You can banish 1 Continuous Spell/Trap Card from your Graveyard, then target 1 other card on the field; destroy it. I only play two because honestly 3 is bricky. He's recyclable as well. Anti-Spell Fragrance: Maining it because if I open it game one it's a game winner vs a lot of decks (this + Inspector Boarder is an instant win vs Pen Mags) It's not really a brick going second because I can just tribute them for my Dracos and if can get rid of Pen Mags Scales or they don't finish with full scales and opt to keep them in hand I can proceed to dick ball them on their next turn. Ra - Sphere Mode: Cannot be Special Summoned. Requires 3 Tributes from either side of the field to Normal Summon to that side of the field (cannot be Normal Set), then shift control to this card's owner during the End Phase of the next turn. Cannot attack. Your opponent cannot target this card for attacks or by card effects. You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "The Winged Dragon of Ra" from your hand or Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions, and if you do, its ATK/DEF become 4000. Side this going second verse a lot of decks. It does almost the same job Amano-Iwato even though it doesn't stop hand traps (most people side out hand traps going first anyways) Clears boards, gets passed that stupid Saryuja, Double Buster Dragon and negate loaded Gameciel boards that good ABCs players can make. funk that board. Not being able to Normal Summon is fine because I can just do it on my opponents turn haha xd. I'll touch on more cards tomorrow maybe. I'm contemplating on putting Forbidden Chalice in my side deck over the Strikes as well, because as fantastic as Amano-Iwato is if my opponent makes Abyss Dweller going first I cannot break their board with Amano-Iwato and my traps because of Dweller. Ultimagamer
looks pretty solid to me. I do have a few questions though1. since you do so little special summoning on your turn, why not run 3 duality?2. 2 masterpeace with desires seems like a risky option, any reason for 2 instead of 3? Opening two Duality sucks ass. Master Peace I play at two because he is searchable by Maiden and Diagram, he's also recyclable by Disciples.
