Summoning-wise, there's not a lot of viable DARK vanillas you'd like to run (and most of them are usually tokens), but in a casual setting, pick any vanilla you want. Revival effect is fine, as-is recovering a Trap. Then again, it can be seen as being WEAKER than Mask of Darkness since you can't set it that turn (but in most cases, Mask is getting destroyed first and you have to wait otherwise, so...no real difference in usage).
