ÆƵ– Posted February 23, 2018 Report Share Posted February 23, 2018 this deck looks like a major s n a c c (good thing) but I'm curious as to how it all works together; What's the wincoin? Ideal cards to have in hand? How often do bricks come up? I can recognize all the engines separately, just curious how they all work together. Proto Posted February 23, 2018 Author Report Share Posted February 23, 2018 bricks are a lot less often then you'd expect. there aren't really a lot of absolutely unplayable hands besides like, triple bls 2 scattershot i guess.deck was built around upstart golden ninja because i wanted to make a ninja deck but realized all the other ninjas sucked. i was wondering what deck runs a lot of traps? paleozoic obviously, whos main problem seems to be getting a real engine running so i figured that being able to pitch your paleos might be good black luster soldier and the phantom knights essentially have a weird synergy where if you use beginning (which is also a trap thats pitchable with upstart/usable for zoic fodder) with phantom knights then no matter what the result you generally plus like mad because pitching 2 phantom knights is really funking good. additionally phantom knights have vambrace which is actually a pretty insane trap card imo considering its searchable by boots.the volcanic cards were included because i realized i ran triple marella for phantom knight cards anyways why not just have a free raigeki to go with it. plus scattershot is 2 so you can get funny plays with it (i once won a game off of making opabinia off of vambrace and scattershot) wincons pretty much set up toadally awesome/bagooska early with paleos/frogs/upstart with the added benefit of a volcanic nuke and then go into dark requiem dragon/bls next turn to finish the gameo yeah and lancea is there because i autolose to evenly match and needed more bls fodder Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted February 24, 2018 Report Share Posted February 24, 2018 Wow Upstart Golden Ninja is pure genius, props for that one. Might Utopia + the Lightning be worth it to out threats that Paleozoic often struggle with? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
goodfusion Posted February 24, 2018 Report Share Posted February 24, 2018 If you played a copy of Ninja Grandmaster Hanzo, you could summon him with Upstart Golden Ninja and search an Upstart for next turn. Since Hanzo is DARK and Golden is LIGHT, it also sets up Chaos easily if you Link Summon or Detach them into the GY. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
