This is a Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0, also known internally as a Porsche 930. Don’t ask about the car’s naming, because if you don’t know Porsches, the explanation will make your brain hurt. This car received the nickname of widowmaker because if you were/are inexperienced with a car like this, you were/are gonna have a bad time. A really bad time. Like, crashing kind of bad time. It was/is a brutal car, and it’s not the only one in the Porsche 911 family to given the nickname of “widowmaker.” With that said, the car is an icon, and like with most classic Porsche 911s(which debuted in 1963), they are considered highly collectible. If you want one of these, you’d likely pay a similar price to the newest base model Porsche 911, which is probably safer, but, there’s something about it’s unforgiving nature that makes it more appealing to a number of us gearheads. This has been learning with Raeg. Tune in next time if there is a next time when Raeg posts a car so brutally unforgiving that can/will literally burn your ass with its side exhausts and will laugh at your pain and suffering afterwards.
