~~~~ Posted February 8, 2018 Report Share Posted February 8, 2018 So every now and then at my locals we have a tag team tournament, instead of the usual standard stuff. 16000 LP, shared field and grave, separate hands and decks. The idea behind this is for Player 1 to set a load of draw power and hope that they survive until Player 2 gets a turn. Then Player 2 essentially is playing Exodia but with a 10-card opening hand. The deck(s) are very difficult to test for a variety of reasons, so I'd really appreciate any suggestions on how I can improve it. Suggestions will earn a rep and, if I find it helpful, up to 10k points depending on how helpful. If you are a mod I can put those points on a tab for after the mod point reset. If you have any questions about how these decks are supposed to work, or any card choices I have made, feel free to ask! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Expelsword Posted February 18, 2018 Report Share Posted February 18, 2018 I think the suggestion should be to your card shop:Don't allow competitors to play such similar decks, it seems to be against the spirit of the competition. I would recommend Dark World Dealings. I presume it affects all four duelists, and advancing both decks at once - especially if you can communicate about your hands, is exactly what you want. Yeah, we have a bunch of weird rules regulating how things work. Also we don't need to ban this kind of deck since as of now no one is abusing it. I plan to be the first at my locals, and maybe people will get annoyed with me enough to get them to ban my deck, maybe not. EDIT: But yeah I like the idea of DWD. It's a similar reasoning as Magical Mallet, that because you get the +5 from your ally you don't mind that it's a -1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
