~~~~ Posted January 24, 2018 Report Share Posted January 24, 2018 When this card is Normal or Flip Summoned: You can Special Summon any number of "Skyblaster Tokens" (Fiend/DARK/Level 4/ATK 500/DEF 500), up to the number of monsters you control. So you could put a Link Monster in the EMZ and Troymare Goblin in the MMZ. Goblin effect allows you to NS this, get 3 Tokens. Worth it? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sleepy Posted January 30, 2018 Report Share Posted January 30, 2018 I appreciate that this is one of the few cards in the game whose Tokens actually have a body beyond 0/0 Level 1s.In a slower game, it is great that you could re-use its effect through Flip Summon shenanigans. "up to the number of monsters you control"^this part actually got a little boost. Before, you could only cap at +2 Tokens, but now thanks to the EMZ, you can have 3 monsters and still bring out 3 Tokens. I'd say pretty decent, but requiring your Normal Summon is the biggest problem it has. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Mr. Best Male 2008 Posted February 1, 2018 Report Share Posted February 1, 2018 It's a fine card. So far it's only real use has been in Mekk-Knights because they don't use their normal summon, and it helps them start linking. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Black D'Sceptyr Posted February 1, 2018 Report Share Posted February 1, 2018 It's been a trade-off between this and Cosmic Compass as the premiere "Normal Summon to Tokens to profit" games that'll be ensuring when Grinder Golem gets the Gofu treatment (if its lucky.) Basically, these both run into the same issue-eating the Normal Summon in a format where that's often prime real estate for Archetype Searchers/Summoners unless you've got a Brilliant Predaplant engine ready (and even then you're fighting for ground with the Predaplants. But this has an advantage over the Compass in that it's not reliant on your opponent's board. Still needs setup on your end but that should be easy with the right cards (coughGofucough). Anyways this'll have its day. Just gotta wait for them to get right on Grinder and Firewall. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
