J-Max
Just a random idea that came to my mind while eating Ice cream lol. Deck BombContinuous SpellDuring each of your Draw Phases, you can skip it to activate 1 of the following effects.- Add 1 card from your Deck to your hand. Decrease your Life Points by 2000.- Your opponent adds 1 card from thier Deck to their hand. Decrease your opponent's Life Points by 2000. I know the OCG is off but I am super rusty lol. Dova
Deck BombContinuous SpellDuring each of your Draw Phases, you can skip it to activate 1 of the following effects.- Add 1 card from your Deck to your hand, also lose 2000 LP.- Your opponent adds 1 card from their Deck to their hand, also they lose 2000 LP. There you go :P A bit memey, if I'm being honest. I mean, burning your opponent for 2000 ready for your OTK is great, especially since its not really damage, and balancing it by granting them a search is also a good way of balancing it. I would say they draw 1 card, because this is the handtrap era of YGO...but this is Casual Cards. Also, granting yourself a search at such a cost is fine, because the the card is so slow...but the card being so slow really hurts its usability. D/D/D don't want it because it doesn't burn, and other than that it's pretty generic. You need a way of keeping it on the field until you need it, but if a deck can...this could REALLY be a killer card. For now, I'd play it for the surprise factor and side it out/in in one or two of my casual Decks that can't really get much worse, but that's about it. Snatch Steal
I would suggest saying “During your Draw Phase, instead of conducting your normal draw, you can apply one of the following effects:”This way, you don’t use the vague pronoun “it” which is not present in traditional card writing. It seems as though this is another attempt at a vanilla tutor with a heavy cost. It WOULD be a high-risk, high-reward card, except using it in aggressive Decks seems necessary to me. Adding the last OTK piece from your deck to your hand is well worth the same as a solemn warning, and if your opponent isn’t completely depleted of LP, then they lose 1/4 of the rest, which could very well be enough to kill them instantly.I would recommend changing the effect to pay life points rather than lose them, so that a player cannot put their opponent on a one-turn timer if they happen to get this card. Also, I just realized that this can add exodia parts, which makes their playing style more about gaining LP and using stall cards, since this adds everything they need. It’s technically searchable with Left Arm Offering, so a Deck could be built with demise and that to prioritize stalling until you can search each piece (and technically draw into 2 of them at least) Basically, LP was never a huge concern in a game this fast, which is why stuff like Solemn Judgment is banned. You can easily make up for the loss of LP with the cards you put on the field afterwards, so even though it allows Madolche to add Anjelly and Mewfuille, it also allows other decks to add Rescue Rabbit, That Grass Looks Greener, Exodia parts, Gofu, Grinder Golem, Terrortop, Tour Guide, and other forces for OTKs. Put simply, vanilla tutors shouldn’t really exist because of how fast and reactive the game is. Being able to add any one card from your deck to your hand doesn’t mean much in Pokémon, where you can only have one active Pokémon, but in a game like Yugioh where your opponent is always vulnerable, getting 5 monsters on board is possible and extremely useful. The decks that summon this many monsters, if built efficiently, will only need to add 1 card from their deck to their hand to succeed in what they must do. Along the same lines, your draw Phase doesn’t matter if there won’t even be a next turn because your opponent died from the 2000 burn damage.
