It was an okay card when it came out,

However, being destroyed regardless if it wins the battle or not is a very big drawback.

1) there's no reason to use it if you are in the lead, as it does you little good to have a monster your opponent won't attack because of another monster you have on the field.

2) there's no reason to use it if you are behind because it will just get destroyed after the first attack anyway.

Yes, spell and trap cards can help you out a little, but a persistent opponent won't mind losing 1700 lifepoints if it means an open chance at yours.

Plus, cards like Spirit Barrier and Tornado Wall (combined with Umi). The attacker wouldn't take any battle damage anyway, so no loss for them, big loss for you.

Good card for burn decks as a one-time only thing.

Great for tributes.

couldnt you use limiter removal when an opponent attacks this card since it would die at the end of the battle anyway. Atleast that way you get a little extra damage in before it dies on ya. Change the ammount of damage they take from 1700 to 3400

 

Limiter Removal's purpose is to OTK, and you advise using it to deal 1700 damage?

i say this card should be banned it has to much potentiol

no, this card is not good anymore... also your opponent just have to attack it with a weak monster and it will be destroyed anyway and the opponent just receive 1700 damage... lol life points!!

I use it to win the game, but if I have strong monsters on the field (Dark Paladin, Dark Magician of Chaos, and/or Sorcerer of Dark Magic) I will use it mid-duel. Think of it, minimum of 2500 damage to your opponent, not counting if you have Mage Power equipped for a possible max of 5000 without any other equip cards or field modifying cards, equalling even more power.

Axe of Despair x3 = 3000

Mystic Plasma Zone = 500

Mage Power x2 500x(a [if a=# of spell/traps on the field) = 6000

DM attack power = 2500

Grand possible attack power of 12000atk

 

But now I'm just ranting. Usually I only use Mage Power to bring him to 5000 atk, attack and then activate it OR I will bring all 3 DM's out, attack with all three doing 7500, then ring of destruction to end the duel.
