You can only use this effect of this card's name once per turn.

 



I desperately wanted to make cards with art for this AGMGift, and couldn't think of anything that fit the idea of LIGHT Fiend without seeming too handwaved. Came up with this "pun", and decided to get to work.

Simply put, a LIGHT Fiend Synchro archetype that uses smaller Synchros to ladder up to the bigger ones; I tried to design it in a such a way that you could really use any combination of monsters to get to the big bad boy. I thought the idea of triggering their effects on being used as Synchro Material might also be cool, and took the idea to banishing both your own cards and your opponent, the way Nyx likes it :P Was sure to include Summoning that need to banish cards to do so, i.e. the Synchros. Ideally you only don't want to draw Daaros, as most of the other cards are enablers, so do what you will with it.

I designed it to work mainly in the AGM Format, but I think that with cards like Needlefiber this deck can do decently with MR4.

Spectacular!

 

The flavor's there, as a gargoyle statue is immobile, but by negating its effects, it can attack or awaken. Didn't expect them to trigger their effects upon banishment, but it is very much appreciated. While you may not want to draw Daaros, what you could do is banish it with Gold Sarcophagus and trigger its effect. Sure, you still add Daaros about two turns later, but you get a Stargoyle card that you can use for earlier plays. And Light of Redemption for what it's worth. And yeah, even with Links this archetype could still be backwards compatible with the current gamestate. Also, the art on most of these is awesome. You really went above and beyond.
