Shradow
Mega Man's finally back, and it looks great so far. I love the art style (not 8-bit, woo!) and the song in the trailer is great as well. I can't wait to get back into the classic Mega Man groove. Astro Dude
Me too. And who knows, maybe Megaman X9 will be a thing.
The Nyx Avatar
Awesome! After all this time, I figured Capcom wouldn't make a new Megaman game after all. Oh, and it's going to be on all platforms? Nice! Gameplay looks fine. Nothing all that abnormal from most previous Megaman games. It's just good to see again. Like an old friend. mitchermitcher
Would rather it be sprites but o well After Mighty no.9, this one is going to look good in comparison no matter how bad it actually turns out to be so I'm looking forward to that. Bit of an exaggeration, MN9 wasn't that bad. It was just painfully average.
mitchermitcher
Correction:After Mighty no.9's release, this one is going to look good in comparison no matter how bad it(both its release and the actual game itself) actually turns out to be. Shradow
Oh yeah, MN9's release was definitely a sheet show, with the delays and community problems and bad marketing and stuff, but the game itself was just okay.
Just Crouton
personally, i'd rather mega man get a x8 redesign, but whatever not expecting much, though i do like that the robot master weapons now change appearance. that was something great they did in the ruby spears cartoon now and then. Maybe in 5 years we'll have Mega Man x9 or Mega Man 12, or Mega Man Online.

Fusion X. Denver
You know, I've never played a Mega Man game.If this gets good reception, maybe I should use this as my gateway to the franchise, see how I like it. Looks fun from the trailer.

Looks fun from the trailer. Given how far off this game is I'd consider picking something else up in the meantime if you're wanting to get into the series anytime soon. The classic Mega Man games are relatively simple run 'n gun platformers, the Mega Man X/Zero/ZX games are like evolved versions of that with more complex movement and combat requiring a bit more dexterity and muscle memory since some are pretty hard (and there's a spin-off of X called Command Mission that is an RPG with turn-based combat), the Mega Man Legends games are 3D action, and the Mega Man Battle Network/Star Force games are RPGs with you moving around a gridded field utilizing collectible chips to attack when in battle. It'd be pretty simple to emulate pretty much any of them, they're all on older systems.

Looks fun from the trailer. If you want my advice, start with the first in Each series and work your way up. Personally, I like 8 the best. Besides, the style isn't anything new. Network Transmission and X8 did the same thing.
.Rooster
TBH it looks like a spinoff or an indie game instead of the return of Megaman. They should have made a new Megaman X game with HD 3D graphics.
