Ryusei the Morning Star Posted December 4, 2017 Report Share Posted December 4, 2017 Normal TrapYou can only use one of this card name’s effects per turn, and only once that turn.(1): If you control no monsters: You can target 1 Zombie monster in your GY; Special Summon it.(2): If you control no monsters: You can banish this card in your GY and target 1 Zombie monster in your GY; Special Summon it, but its effects are negated. Eshai Posted December 4, 2017 Report Share Posted December 4, 2017 "You can activate target 1 monster in your graveyard" wtf? Is it supposed to be "Target 1 monster in your GY."? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sleepy Posted December 4, 2017 Report Share Posted December 4, 2017 The "if you control no monsters" bit is probably enough of an incentive to not always use it over other revive cards, and that's a good thing (variety over power creeping each other). Being a double revive makes it pretty great though, and even more so as a Trap. You can always get an extra wall like this when the opponent thinks they have game. Hopefully Banishark-like decks (the concept of temporarily putting your own monsters out of the way to pseudo-empty your field as you go about with your plays) someday'll be an amusing thing to use this on. Where is this from? Sounds like something I'd love to have copies of for diverse experiments. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~~ Posted December 4, 2017 Report Share Posted December 4, 2017 yeah this card sucks cos Zombies have way better options than this. Grave effect is laughable when you see that they have Mezuki. Back when it was translated as generic I was considering something Paleozoic with this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
True, but having more/less extra Mizukis can't hurt. The "no monsters on field" condition is easy when the deck's main play is to go into Omegas and this lets you simply extend that play. That and Foolish Burial Goods is @3 while getting Mezuki in grave tends to use up a Normal Summon. It being a trap also means that you can use its grave effect on the opponent's turn which is pretty cool as well if only for the battle protection. VCR_CAT Posted December 4, 2017 Report Share Posted December 4, 2017 I figured there was something weird about the text, and it being for Zombos makes sense. Otherwise, it seemed VERY weird for Konami to outcreep Return to the Frontlines so freaking quickly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~ P O L A R I S ~ Posted December 5, 2017 Report Share Posted December 5, 2017 This could be nasty in Omega hand loop decks because Omega can recycle this and once you banish Omega you can have no monsters. If Beast of the Pharaoh can make it then anything's possible, also TCG pls Limit Omega. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Being able to do it on your opponent's turn doesn't actually count for that much, but having an effect does. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tinkerer Posted December 6, 2017 Report Share Posted December 6, 2017 Well, if Zombie world is up, you can reborn anything Same with Mezuki, I believe. Arguing about returning this over Mezuki off Omega is pointless since Mezuki is clearly better to return 9.5 times out of 10. This is strong to extend further. It shouldn't compete with 'zuki and probably should be a 1-2 of depending on how you can devote deck space to Foolish Goods and whether or not your Deck has a "triple Omega or bust" kind of deal. It's more a substitute for Reborn than Mezuki imo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
