Azuh
The Alolan version is better though :D Oh this is a card off the GX Manga! I didn't think they were still grabbing ideas from there.

Hallohallo
Well it's pretty much identical to the manga counterpart, except it's not a Yokai type, cuz those don't exist in OCG/TCG. They missed an opportunity to make this Level 9 tbh. But hey, it produces tokens, which is vewy important in Link Era.

Not entirely sure how to exploit that, but given that it doesn't have to be from field, you could use the fire True King (likely your lv9 reference) in Shiranui
The Warden
White, I’ll ask you to contribute more than just a .gif to the discussion please. Also Azuh, they’ve actually been pulling from Bastion’s Yokai type for years, starting off with Mezuki if I recall correctly. As for use, you could use this in Fire Kings, as the field spell or one of the Fire Kings can pop it from the hand.

~ P O L A R I S ~
Really good card. I'd expect this to see play in True King Dinos among other decks running Diagram as well as Lightsworns/Shiranuis/Vendreads.
Tinkerer
FIRE? Check.Level 6? Check.Self-summoning condition? Check. Welp, looks like I'm grabbing this for my Hazy Flames. EDIT: Never read the GX Manga, but "Goka, the Pyre of Malice" wouldn't also happen to be a Bastion card, would it? The interaction between it and this seems amusing. ~British Soul~
Goka, the Pyre of Malice is also Manga Bastion's card, but in the manga, the card is a Fusion Monster. I forgot that Goka was a fusion in the manga tbph, then again it has been a while since I last read the GX manga.
Dokutah
Maybe its time to pick shiranui for me at last... Well they already decent for some other time but the premise of turning it into True King Bastion/Daichi .deck amuse me strongly It has ok stat, hefty but flexible Summon condition is nice. Not really keen on piercing, but the big effect is is counter generation for being destroyed anywhere by any method. Which can setup fields by giving you 2 Mat of every shenanigans this game can push except Xyz
Snatch Steal
Smells like a -1. To get 2 monsters on the field only to make this instead of a link monster is a mistake. Piercing does basically nothing for a level 6 with 2200. It can be used in fire king or a Deck with Goka but either of those are bad options. It synergizes with Dark Hole and Slumber, but it's not reliable to wait for your opponent to destroy a 2200/2000 and leave the tokens Sort of seems like a wishful thinking card, but you could special summon it some other way than its own effect and do something like that. Sleepy
I don't see the flavor in the card's design at all. One would think it'd have something to do with the tails growing up to 9, or the Level be 9, or something other than will-o-wisp.Also, I liked Bastion more as a man of science. I still don't fully get why they made him a Yokai guy in the manga. I guess it turns 2 monsters into a pierce monster if you want to use that skill, or self-pop cards like Metalfoes, Dragonic Diagram, Sky Iris, etc. will get their destruction and you'll get your monsters back, effectively keeping your numbers, but mostly for laddering. I wonder how far the loops could get if it didn't have the hard OPT clause. I think it is good they went for the safe route but can't help but think the card is slightly underwhelming.
