At least they'll have CGI graphics on real animals, like the Jungle Book remake.
Phantom Roxas
It was confirmed a long time ago that this will be live-action, so yes, chances are they'll use CGI like The Jungle Book.

It will be interesting to see how it handles Mufasa's Death.Something which hit a lot of us hard. In honesty, I've never heard of Kamari and Azizi, and where are Banzai and Ed? More importantly, will they reuse Ed's old laugh tracks?
Face McShooty
Kamari and Azizi are basically Banzai and Ed from articles and stuff I’ve read, they’ve changed their names to give them more of an African feel I guess

TheLion'sDen
While a lot of the cast is virtually unknown, I do think I could do a lot better if I was the one casting, I still think it's... Good. The Lion King was and still is my favourite movie of all time, bar none, so I sincerely hope they get this right, if not, say goodbye to my childhood... But in all seriousness, John Favrou is a good director, I have a lot of faith in him and I trust him.
