This Is Where I Say Farewell.

I am glad we got past the initial few days to see eye-to-eye. As I said in my own, I would not mind you visiting Aelion. To be honest, I do wish to see how your Granzon's ability to create black holes affects certain foes back home...

Flavius brings a hand to his chin in thought for a moment, before shaking his head and lowering his hand.

Bah, not the time for that.

He extends a golden hand towards Shu, a smile on his face.

And even if we do not see each other again, it was a pleasure meeting you.

Shu nods, a smile on his face as he extends his hand towards Flavius and gives him a handshake.

Of course. The next time we meet, Flavius, I will be sure to bring my newly repaired Granzon with me. Perhaps together we can upgrade it to a form beyond that of the Neo Granzon.

That would make for an interesting challenge for the future. And I know the perfect being to test it against.

He has this rather-dark grin as if envisioning something for a moment before it breaks and he slightly blushes.

Oh, sorry about that.

But yes, remember when you said that you despises people controlling you? If you do come to Aelion, there is one race you need to beware of, and those are the mostly-aquatic Mantides. Some of their number are flying insects that will land on the back of the neck and inject various mind-controlling substances into a person to take control of them. It is a reversible process, normally separating the insect from the host is enough to free the controlled and leave them unharmed, but it does still happen. While it took a special variant of those insects specifically bred to affect us Immortals, I know first-hand what it's like to be under their control. You are lucid to what is happening around you, but you have next to no influence over what you do. Not only that, but the voices in your head are not all your own.

They are one of the six invading races, so you may get some cheers of your own for wiping some of their number out.

Duly noted. Thank you, Flavius.
