And...there it is, the karmic backlash I was waiting for.

 

 

Flavius begins typing on the panel he was standing in front of, working on a final message to send the man.

 

You had the opportunity to do well here and you squandered it, Murtaugh. You are not the only one that has become enraged by this hostile community and yet it is you that almost immediately went to violent hostilities and endangered this place instead of, oh, I do not know, sitting down and listening for once in your life.

 

I hope that, whatever life you find yourself in the future, you do not allow your rage to destroy you. Your power will not save you forever, just like I do not expect to remain in existence forever. For the record, it is not you, the person, that I am angered by, it is your actions. I honestly pity how you have made yourself into someone that everyone else despises.

Watching how the message becomes transferred, he begins hacking from the inside of the Research Center to make sure that it reaches all the way to wherever Murtaugh may be.

Whether he listens or not, I am still sad a mind like that is being wasted by hostility. He could be achieving great things, but his perception causes him to squander it in self-destructive ways.
