When a Monster your opponent controls attacks, you can Special Summon this card from you hand, then, negate that attack. When you activate a "Ninjitsu Art" Spell/Trap Card, you can add this card from your GY to your hand. You can only activate this effect of "Block Ninja" once per turn.

So Block Ninja in itself for Warrior Decks acts as a defensive shield card that allows you to summon it from your hand and negate an attack. Then in Ninja Decks if you activate a Ninjitsu Art card you can then bring this card back to your hand to protect yourself from attacks.

 

Effectively this can be used in Ninja Decks but outside of then this also enables the use of potential Link summoning as this can protect your own monsters while bring it out to enable you to summon a Link 2 or 3 Link Monster.

I would add a "but banish it when it leaves the field" to the add it back to your hand, since that could get out of hand pretty quickly. I guess we are talking about Ninjas though, so maybe not.

 

As for Warrior Decks, I don't see this making any of them. If they wanted something like this then you would use Gorz, Battle Fader, or Tragoedia. This is a Level 4 Warrior so it can make Xyz Monsters, but I feel the other generic battle hand traps we already have are better and they barely get used anyway. Although for casual play, I can see this card be pretty fun.

 

You might want to make a Rank 4 of this caliber where it can attack while in Defense Position, so they have something to go in tandem with Blade Armor Ninja.
