Burklight
I'm thinking of a Duel Academy themed RP. It'll focus around gaining ranks, becoming better, developing your deck, and reaching the top of the school. Everyone participating will RP as if they're actually attending Duel Academy, what I mean by this is that there will be a schedule, like classes, dorm switch exams, etc. School duels will take place in the centermost arena in the Academy. I would appreciate teachers or even a chancellor if someone is interested in being one. The forms will be somewhat straightforward. Academy Boom With the rise of new types of ways to play, Duel Monsters has a had a larger rise in popularity, with Duel Academy getting more and more applicants. Some wanted to simply learn their way, some wanting to rise to the top, looking up to such Duelists as Zane Truesdale and Yugi Muto himself. Now, having to increase their curriculum to cover the various new cards, Duel Academy is at an all time high. But, something's been happening behind the scenes. Some students go missing, never to be heard from again. Despite their best efforts, the Chancellor hasn't been able to suppress the rumors and conjecture. Even then, Duel Academy keeps receiving applicants, hosting new talents to rise, giving birth to legends, to the next King of Games. Duel Academy Schedule (not real time):Monday - Friday7:30 to 4:00Detention: 5:00 to 6:00Saturday - SundayDays offCard Shop:Open all week, new cards shipped on Tuesday, closed Sunday. Past that, he's always on guard, focusing on always being ready. This possibly due to him having to constantly worry about his loss at stardom in his home town.Bio: Gifted in his hometown, he slowly rose up the ranks in the underground, where he dominated with his very first deck, Blue-Eyes White Dragon. The fury in the dragon surged, destroying his opponents with the help of Angels. He decided he'd develop his talents even further opting to Cyber Dragon, putting the fury of his magnificent dragon on the shelf for a time. Cyber Dragon allowed Angels to work even more complex strategies, while Blue-Eyes gave him a straightforward beatdown, his Cyber Dragons gave him chances to further develop his strategies, even being able to win in one turn. He used one final deck while entering into Duel Academy, Sattartellarknights. He further developed his strategy, this deck focused around shutting down his opponent's field and swarming with his various XYZ monsters. Arimetal
Okay but, if it's suppose to be Duel Academy, Xyz really shouldn't be a thing.
Yui
Hello there, friendly neighborhood mod here. I was actually about to shut you down on the principle of the section rules stating that you need to have participated in an RP before being allowed to host one, but... Zai seems to have changed that since taking the big seat round here. I'm not sure if that was intentional or not (so if you find your thread suddenly locked, that's why), but I'm gonna go with the assumption that he meant to take it out. So you're good, at least for now (^_^)b Depending on how the turnout for this RP looks, I may join as well. Welcome to the RP section by the way; glad to have you, and hopefully you stick around. EDIT: Talked to Zai, the rule was taken out intentionally. Have fun (>w<)/

You’re totally allowed to host your own RP from the getgo, but judging from the state of the OP it looks like this is your first rodeo.I’d suggest taking a look at some of the help topics we have pinned, and perhaps jumping in on another RP somewhere to see how we do things. Feel free to come to me for help too, if you’d like. PS: Spoiler tags are your friends!
Burklight
Just to make some things clear, yeah this is Duel Academy but it is not GX. Therefore, Link Format is used and all Extra Deck monster types are allowed. And as for the friendly neighborhood Moderators, thank you, any and all advice is appreciate. xlArisenRoselx
I am sooooo interested in this. I will join as a student, but I want to ask a question. Can I use an archetype of balanced Custom cards? These are what I would be using. If so, I already have the character to use as well. =====As for you starting a new RP before taking place in one, yeah, you are missing quite a bit. I would love to assist you in this, whether it be by co-host, or possibly just helping develop the plot and other missing things. At least this attempt was WAY better than my first attempt. Burklight
Yes on both, you can help me out with this, since this is my very first time every trying to make a RolePlay on here. Also I do encourage custom Archetypes, I just ask during the duels that they people using their own Archetype state their effects.

xlArisenRoselx
So, I'm a co-host now? You said yes to both, so I will assume that means yes. Anyway, reserving this post for my app, and I will PM you Burklight. [spoiler=Yuna Kitamura]Image: [spoiler=Appearance]https://i.imgur.com/WebqZq0.jpg Character Quote: "Step Right Up! Who wants to Duel? Everyone's got a chance to be the Winner!"Student Name: Yuna KitamuraAge: 17Gender: FemaleRace: Cybernetic HumanOccupation: Hostess for a carnivalDorm: Slifer RedPersonality: She is a lot like Yuya Sakaki from Arc-V. She doesn't like to think negatively, and will always try make every situation fun for everone! She never dislikes a Duel, and never makes her opponent feel like they stand no chance. This does not mean she will be a pushover either. Instead, she makes sure she puts forth a great effort, but also ensures that the opponent has as much fun as she is. Her monsters help with this, since most of them are cute, fun, carnival themed creatures. But don't mess with her friends. She will stick up for her friends even when they don't stick up for themselves.Bio: She was not born in Domino City. In fact, she was born in Duelist Kingdom. Although, she has had temporary homes in lots of places. The reason for this is because her father owns a traveling carnival. She does not mind moving around so much, in fact, it's all she's ever known. She constantly helps out with the carnival, and when she turned 16 her father allowed her to become the hostess of the entire event. This was not a surprise to her though, considering she helped with any task she could ever since the age of 5. At age 10, she discovered this thing called "Duel Monsters." When she asked her father about it, he said it would never be allowed in the carnival he ran. This only intrigued her more. So, she did something she regrets to this day. She told her father she was visiting a friend when she was really going to buy herself a Duel Disk. But, the problem was that she was using a shady outlet to get it for cheaper. They were called "Dueling Expo" or Dueling Experiments. They had tricked this poor 10 year old girl into believing she was getting a Duel Disk so they could test a new cyber-visual product. She did get a Duel Disk at the end, so she believed the illusion even more thinking this happens to everyone who gets a Duel Disk. It wasn't until she got home and her father questioned her about it that she realized she had been duped.Needless to say, she was punished for disrespecting and lying to her father, but, when her punishment was over, she made it her goal to make Dueling part of the carnival. The original reason was because there would definitely be a loser and that would go against the "Everyone's a winner" vibe her father established. So, to counter this, she found a way to make both player's feel like they won. She would compliment other player's combos, she would offer to help them become a better duelist, and also, most important, make sure both players are having fun. She then waited until now to tell her father her ideas for adding dueling to the carnival. After all, she is the hostess now, and she found a solution to his original problem with it. He agreed, and now people enjoy their carnival even more.Appearance: She wears bright, festive, fun, colors to complement her lifestyle. She has blonde hair, with hazel eyes, and a skin complexion that glows. The clothes she wears are usually a bunch of different colors added together, but her favorite color combo is gold, orange and white. Her headress is not actually a removable accessory. It is a permanent fixture that allows her to see things a lot more clearly. It also will help her be able to see the solid vision images created by the duel disks without needing to equip hers. This means she can see other people's duels without activating her duel disk. These cyber attachments also have the neat perk of allowing her to cybernetically change her clothes.Deck: Yuna's deck focuses on Special Summoning. Link, Pendulum, Xyz, Synchro, Fusion, even just revival or retrieval effects, she loves it. This is also the easiest way to ensure her opponent has as much fun as her. Without driving them into insanity because they can't do anything, or because she has way better cards, her cards have relatively low attack, except her bosses. Like all her monsters, her bosses have ways of Special Summoning archetypal monsters, but they have different sub-effects. Ace Monsters: Her Aces would obviously include "Carnimal Tent Tarantula" and most of her other Synchro monsters. Outside of archetype Ace monsters include: Blazar, Quasar, Sifr, and other Level 12 Synchros.Custom Cards:[spoiler=The "Carnimal" Archetype] Monsters:Carnimal Ferris FerretLevel 4 - EARTH - Beast/Tuner/Effect - ATK/1100 DEF/1200Once per turn, if the only monsters you control are "Carnimal" monsters, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Carnimal" monster from your hand or GY. You cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck the turn you activate this effect, except for "Carnimal" monsters. The first guy I created that really made me want to continue making this, he has a revival or charge effect for "Carnimal" monsters and locks the Extra Deck to the same monsters at the same time. Pretty good combo play potential.Carnimal Fluffy FoalLevel 3 - EARTH - Beast/Effect - ATK/1400 DEF/1000If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Carnimal" card, you can target 1 "Carnimal" monster in your hand or GY, Special Summon that target. You can only use this effect of "Carnimal Fluffy Foal" once per turn.Revival or Charging effect if you use an archetypal monster to summon him. Underwhelming, yes, but can still make decent plays.Carnimal Candy CardinalLevel 2 - WIND - Winged-Beast/Pendulum/Tuner/Effect - ATK/1000 DEF/1000Scale: 1/1Pendulum Effect: Once per turn, if you control no monsters (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card from your Pendulum Zone.Monster Effect: Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was destroyed by battle or by card effect and sent to your Extra Deck face-up, you can Special Summon this card.Someone destroys your other Pendulum? No worries, you can Special Summon this card, as long as you also have no monsters. It kind of is a back up plan. Monster ability provides revival, and this card being a Tuner as well, would be essential.Carnimal Roller RaptorLevel 4 - DARK - Dinosaur/Pendulum/Effect - ATK/1500 DEF/200Scale: 5/5Pendulum Effect: Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can target 1 "Carnimal" monster in your GY whose original Level is in between your Pendulum Scales (exclusive), you cannot conduct your Pendulum Summon this turn, also Special Summon that monster.Monster Effect: When a "Carnimal" monster(s) is Special Summoned while this card is face-up on the field, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Carnimal" monster from your Deck, but it cannot attack. You can only use this effect of "Carnimal Roller Raptor" once per turn. You can Pendulum Summon a monster from the GY essentially. Monster effect allows for an extra monster from your Deck, allowing for higher Synchro plays.Carnimal Prize PythonLevel 3 - WATER - Reptile/Tuner/Effect - ATK/1300 DEF/1200You can discard this card, or tribute this card on your side of the field, Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Carnimal" monster from your Deck. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if this card is in your GY, you can shuffle this card into your Deck, then Special Summon 1 level 4 or lower "Carnimal" monster from your Deck. You can only use 1 effect of "Carnimal Prize Python" per turn, and only once that turn.A discard effect to Special Summon another archetypal monster, and a banish from GY effect with the same result. Pretty good usage.Carnimal Winner WyvernLevel 2 - FIRE - Wyrm/Effect - ATK/800 DEF/1000You can Special Summon this card from your hand or GY, if the only monsters you control are "Carnimal" monsters. You can only use this effect once per turn.A level 2 who Special Summons himself at will to accompany his buddies. GY or hand, doesn't stop him.Spells:Carnimal CarnivalField SpellAll "Carnimal" monsters you control gain 300 ATK and DEF. This effect cannot be negated. Once per turn, if you Special Summon a "Carnimal" monster, you can target 1 card your opponent controls, destroy it.The field spell for them. While giving an unnegatable boost, it also allows for destruction when you special summon an archetypal monster. Shouldn't be too hard to pull off.Carnimal CrateQuick-Play SpellOnce per turn, if the only monsters you control are "Carnimal" monsters (min. 1), you can draw 2 cards. Once, when this card is in your GY (except the turn it was sent there), you can banish this card from your GY (Quick Effect): "Carnimal" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by card effects or by battle until the End Phase. This was a last minute addition. I realized, I would hardly even have a hand in this archetype, so, I made a card to fix that. Double drawing capacity, yay.Traps:Carnimal ControlContinuous TrapOnce per turn, while you control at least 1 "Carnimal" monster, you can change all monsters your opponent controls to face-down Defense Position, then all "Carnimal" monsters you control gain 400 ATK until the End Phase.Partner this bad boy up with Game Gator and you have a nice combo. While turning your opponent's monsters to Defense (which can be used on both player's turns), it also boosts yours by a little bit setting up for a new play.Extra Deck Monsters:Carnimal Game GatorLevel 8 - WATER - Aqua/Synchro/Effect - ATK/2700 DEF/20001 Tuner + 1+ Non-Tuner monstersIf this card is Synchro Summoned using only "Carnimal" monsters, you can send the Materials used for the Synchro Summon of this card back to the Deck. While this card is on the field, if a "Carnimal" monster battles a face-down monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent.A boss like card, sends material back to the Deck, and piercing battle damage for all monsters in the archetype. Good if you partner it up with the trap card.Carnimal Mallet MonkeyLevel 6 - FIRE - Warrior/Synchro/Effect - ATK/2100 DEF/20001 Tuner + 1+ Non-Tuner monstersOnce per turn, if this card is Synchro Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Carnimal" monster from your Deck. While this card is on the field, "Carnimal" monsters you control cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects.A decent stats Synchro with Special Summoning capabilities, and effect protection while he is face-up. Pretty good usage here.Carnimal Party PiranhaLevel 4 - DARK - Fish/Synchro/Tuner/Effect - ATK/1800 DEF/8001 Tuner + 1+ Non-Tuner monstersThis card can attack your opponent directly. A Synchro monster Summoned using this card as a Material gains this effect:If this card was Synchro Summoned, it gains 300 ATK and DEF.The first Synchro Tuner in the archetype, it can attack directly. Although you mainly wat it for it's next effect. Giving 300 ATK to the next Synchro monster is a good effect.Carnimal Tent TarantulaLevel 12 - LIGHT - Insect/Synchro/Effect - ATK/2900 DEF/34001 "Carnimal" Tuner + 1+ Non-Tuner monstersOnce per turn, you can draw 1 card. This effect cannot be negated. If a face-up "Carnimal" monster you control would be destroyed by battle, you can discard 1 card, it is not destroyed and you take no battle damage from that battle. You can only use this effect of "Carnimal Tent Tarantula" once per turn. This is the biggest boss possible in this archetype. A plus 1 in your hand per turn, protection from battle every turn at the cost of a card in your hand, and awesome ATK and DEF. Combine that with one of the Synchro Tuner's bonus effects, and this could be devastating.Carnimal Dunk DonkeyLevel 7 - WATER - Beast/Synchro/Effect - ATK/2500 DEF/1900When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can target 1 card your opponent controls, destroy it. Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 "Carnimal" monster from anywhere on the field, destroy 1 card your opponent controls.Destroy a card on summon, and tribute to destroy 1. Also, good ATK.Carnimal Toy TigerLevel 5 - EARTH - Beast/Synchro/Tuner/Effect - ATK/2000 DEF/1500When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can destroy 1 card on your opponent's side of the field. A Synchro monster Summoned using this card as a Material gains this effect:Once per turn, when this card destroys a monster by battle, it can attack again.Good Tuner Synchro that can destroy something on summon, and allows for the next to attack twice. Pythr
I'm new (kinda) to this site, and my literary and fluffing posts skills aren't the best, but I'm interested (I have done role plays before, but I wasn't that good at it). I'll make an app when I get the chance. (I have a lot of free time, anyways.) Second of all, as I see you can use custom archetypes, would this be allowed? (First archetype I've made, but I do enjoy them.)
Burklight
Of course, as long as you state their stats and effects during duels, I have no problem with it.
Pythr
[spoiler=Application - Akira Maki]Student Name Akira Maki Age 17 Dorm Ra Yellow PersonalityAkira is an intelligent boy with mischievous acts after all supervision ceases. As an intelligent child, Akira was expected to top his class with his intelligence. However, not everything goes to plan, as he had mysteriously obtained a below average grade. After getting through the confusion, his parents had realized how devious the child was when it came to wanting to get to his schemes. He’d just scribble down the first things that came to mind, (which no, he wasn’t some superhuman which could answer the questions that quickly) which his grades became worse and worse after each grade due to the longer steps needing to complete said questions. He, of course, didn’t do this 100% of the time, as he did focus on homeworks sometimes, which produced a (below average) passing final grade. Biography [spoiler=Bio]Akira was born a bit… suddenly. He wasn’t born when they were expecting him to be, and this caused some rushing, but everything turned out alright in the end. He was taken care with a mix of strictness and lovingness. His father would be strict on what he got, and his mother loved him and attempted to spoil him, stopped by his father at most times. He thought nothing of it, however, and continued to live his life. It wasn’t until he was moving on from grade 5 when he found out about Duel Monsters. On the last day he saw two boys playing a card game, however, he hadn’t noticed how low their skill level was at that time. Before his birthday, he asked his father about the card game, which the kids had called Duel Monsters. His father replied only with a sigh, and with a simple response, he said “No.” Akira was… confused. He barely knew what it was, and was simply wanting to know what it was in the first place. However, his curiosity hadn’t died down. He decided to look into it himself, which lead him to several dueling sites and he soon found out about it. He found it interesting, and after looking into the rules he had a pretty good grasp on the game. All he had to do was get a deck which… was going to be hard. His “funding” wasn’t very good, and his father had already said no, so he probably wasn’t gonna get help from him. He had to do one thing, such a dreaded thing. Do actual work. He was dedicated, however, and he wasn’t one to break so easily. He toughed out the urge to sneak off and mess around with his friends, doing whatever they did. They had all picked up the game as well, but their parents would actually buy the cards for them. It seems Akira was a bit… unlucky, but he ended up finishing it. He bought a deck that he felt looked fun and not too competitive. Skip forward a couple of years of playing and messing around, Akira had one request for his father. He had asked to go to a Dueling Academy. His father was surprisingly compliant with his decision, usually being more strict. He gave him a quick talk on “how mature he has became” and “how much he worked for his goal” but it just went through Akira’s head. He didn’t exactly care. In the end, he got his choice. Appearance Akira stands at 4'9”, a tad shorter than most, however it didn’t bother him much. He has a brown eye colour coupled with silver-ish hair. His attire is usually a black shirt with a blue tie, along with an egg white overcoat with a purple collar. Being near sighted, he has to wear glasses to not be so blind when in class looking at the board. (Image Source: Kai Musashikai from Anime-Gatari)[spoiler=Image] Deck Dread Pup/Hound (Or simplified; Dread Pack) Ace Monster (More yet to be added) Dread Hound the Requiem Well, I tried. I'm not the best at making things like Bios, but I didn't rush it like I'd usually do. I hope it's not that bad.

Yui
App should be just about done now. It got a little long; I was excited when I realized I had the perfect chance to use this character ^_^;[spoiler=Ball of Nerves]"A-Ah! I'm sorry!" Why am I like this!?Student Name: Hanako SakuraAge: 17Dorm: Slifer Red[spoiler=Appearance]Height: 5'3"Weight: 124 pounds[spoiler=Personality]If life were a game, Hanako would unquestionably play a character with a support role. Friend or foe, one trait that stands out about Hanako is that she'll do her best when helping others, and doesn't mind going above and beyond for somebody else's sake. She's the type who if a classmate - or even a total stranger - forgot their lunch, Hanako would readily split hers with them, buy them something to eat after school, bring a second lunch the following day just in case they forgot again, then respond with just a humble - yet slightly nervous - giggle when she's praised for how far she went to make sure the person in question was eating right. Indeed, if it's in the name of giving somebody that little push they need, Hanako is a girl whose commitment and devotion to helping others outshines that of her peers. She doesn't even expect to be praised in return!Hanako doesn't help others so that they can praise her so much as so that they don't end up disappointed with her. Hanako is pretty sensitive to harsh words, and is always a bit paranoid that if she does this or that wrong, any given person will yell at or humiliate her for doing a poor job, or even raise their hands against her if she botched it up bad enough. Being afraid of people in such a manner, yet also so determined to prove her worth, has ended up in crafting Hanako to be a very anxious person, easily startled or spooked, which in turn makes it easy for her to suddenly panic during an important task. A panicky Hanako is a clumsy one, prone to tripping on nothing, walking straight into objects that could easily be avoided, and fumbling - quite possibly dropping - whatever's put into her hands. This clumsiness makes it easy for Hanako to feel like she's failed, which in turn feeds her fear of being reprimanded, making it easier for her to panic over a given task, so on and so forth. The bottom line is that Hanako is a klutz, always afraid of failing and being punished for it, and her determination to help others only feeds these traits. Her drive to not disappoint others combined with her timid nature, however, has the drawback of making her an easy target for bullying, as she most likely won't retaliate or even tell anyone what happened. As she's easily startled, starting a conversation with Hanako may not be the easiest task. Those who manage to pull it off, however, will find Hanako is every bit as sweet as her altrustic nature might imply. Despite her less-than-stellar self-image and overall poor confidence in her own abilities, Hanako is somebody who works to always see the good in the world around her, as well as acting as a voice of motivation for others, encouraging them to do their best, since she's sure they'll do just fine at whatever they try. In a conversation, she always picks her words carefully to do her best to not upset anyone, and listens intently to anything others say to her and guards their secrets devoutly. Generally speaking, however, Hanako doesn't talk much in a conversation. The best way to get her talking is to pull her away from as many people as possible, and get her talking about her hobbies. In the select few topics Hanako is comfortable talking about - namely her hobbies and people she's taken a liking to - she can and most likely will gush on and on as long as she's permitted. A little common ground goes a long way in establishing a friendship with Hanako. Although she's pretty good at it and does it an awful lot, baking is surprisingly not one of Hanako's hobbies, although she's very clear about her goals to become a baker someday. The things Hanako enjoys most in life are birds and books, especially of the fantasy genre. She could go on for weeks sharing facts about different species of birds, and quite possibly months gushing about the many magical worlds she's read about, and all the knights, wizards, and thieves living inside them. She likely won't admit it, but Hanako has always liked to imagine the possibility of being swept off her feet and into the sunset by her own personal knight in shining armor. If one got her to talk about it though, she'd likely follow up on her dream with something like "But I don't really deserve a knight in shining armor; I'm clumsy and jittery and more, and what kind of knight wants to deal with somebody like that?"[spoiler=Biography]For Hanako, the sensations of a mother's embrace or a father's words of encouragement are alien. Growing up with Mr. and Mrs. Sakura was harsh. Hanako's parents were strict, controlling, and every time she thought she finally hit the bar for their expectations of her, it turned out she'd fallen just short and failed them once again. Her parents never seemed to get along with each other that well either. They yelled a lot, though to her memory, Hanako's parents never got physical, be it with each other or with Hanako herself. Her mother wanted Hanako to grow up into a perfect adult "Despite those poor genes from her father's side of the family", while her father wanted Hanako to be the best at everything "So that she wouldn't be anything like her rotten mother". Having something of a sheltered upbringing, Hanako suspected for most of her life that families were just normally like this. They aren't, of course. When Hanako was fourteen, her mother's father intervened. Old Man Noboyuki, as the folks in his neighborhood called him, had simply had enough from Hanako's parents, and wasn't going to let their botched marriage crush Hanako under the ever-growing pressure of their expectations and the scoldings that awaited her inevitable failures. Getting Hanako out of the house led to her parents finally divorcing from a particularly unhappy marriage and going their separate ways while her grandfather took the reins on raising Hanako, but for the most part, the damage Noboyuki feared had already been done. Hanako was an ever-anxious girl, afraid to fail and what people would think of her if she did. Once she settled in with her grandfather, however, Hanako's life improved vastly.Noboyuki - a happy old man living a wholesome lifestyle - did everything in his power to make Hanako feel welcome in his cozy little house, even if the neighborhood wasn't particularly great. Getting used to interacting with people her age - or people in general really - took some time on Hanako's part, and she still has some issues to this day, but with enough effort on Noboyuki's part, Hanako was taking small steps toward living a normal life. He even introduced her to dueling as a means of getting closer to others; everyone duels, after all. Hanako's been dueling for three years, and has been at the Duel Academy for two of those years. Remarkably, she hasn't won a single duel the entire time despite being a surprisingly talented duelist; every time she's about to win, she ends up suddenly playing poorly, and ultimately loses every single time. As such, she's been in Slifer Red since joining, and at this rate won't be leaving anytime soon.[spoiler=Deck/Ace Monster]Gusto: An archetype of WIND Winged-Beast and Psychic monsters with a mostly passive playstyle. The deck utilizes its ace monster - Daigusto Sphreez - to perform an OTK that punishes the opponent for having high-ATK monsters, in the meantime using its various cards and effects to continuously summon monsters from the Deck and moving the ones sent to the Graveyard back into the Deck to reap additional benefits, such as draw power, removal, or additional Special Summons.[spoiler=Misc]Hanako's existential losing streak is in fact intentional on her part. Although she could easily elevate herself to Obelisk Blue if she played to win, Hanako would rather make her opponent happy by letting them win. However, when he does releases his anger (usually in the form of frustration), his calm becomes a typhoon of anger. [spoiler=Bio] Arroyo has always been connected to the water. His father is a marine biologist, and almost always took Arroyo with him on his expeditions. One weekend, the family decided to make a vacation out of a very important experiment. But, during phase one of the plan(Taking Data on the outskirts of an island), a typhoon hit the island, sweeping away Arroyo’s Mother. Yui
App should be just about done now. It got a little long; I was excited when I realized I had the perfect chance to use this character ^_^;[spoiler=Ball of Nerves]"A-Ah! I'm sorry!" Why am I like this!?Student Name: Hanako Sakura Age: 17 Dorm: Slifer Red [spoiler=Appearance]Height: 5'3"Weight: 124 pounds [spoiler=Personality]If life were a game, Hanako would unquestionably play a character with a support role. She doesn't even expect to be praised in return! Hanako doesn't help others so that they can praise her so much as so that they don't end up disappointed with her. If one got her to talk about it though, she'd likely follow up on her dream with something like "But I don't really deserve a knight in shining armor; I'm clumsy and jittery and more, and what kind of knight wants to deal with somebody like that?" [spoiler=Biography]For Hanako, the sensations of a mother's embrace or a father's words of encouragement are alien. Once she settled in with her grandfather, however, Hanako's life improved vastly. Noboyuki - a happy old man living a wholesome lifestyle - did everything in his power to make Hanako feel welcome in his cozy little house, even if the neighborhood wasn't particularly great. As such, she's been in Slifer Red since joining, and at this rate won't be leaving anytime soon.
