Thomas★Zero Posted October 15, 2017 Report Share Posted October 15, 2017 So importantly looking at this Powercode Talker is a generic 3 Material Link Monster which means useable by scapegoat and Grinder Golem combo's. Plus its Monster effect negation ability is amazing along with the double ATK if you have a monster in one of its zones to tribute is a nice touch to it. Packet Link is interesting as it seems to hint that were likely getting a Link Monster with 2 or more down arrows in this Deck based on its ability. Finally Dongle Acorn Summoning a Token when its summoned is cool specially since it synergizes with Packet Link. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted October 15, 2017 Report Share Posted October 15, 2017 Packet Link is terrible, but I love it so much. Paleozoic plays for days Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Atypical-Abbie Posted October 15, 2017 Report Share Posted October 15, 2017 Powercode Talker is probably the best 3-mat that points both left and right I can think of, due to it being generic, and that it has a pretty good effect on top of that. Dongle Acorn is cute, but not sure that really want to go out of my way to Special Summon it really, I guess that RAM Clouder could get it. Packet Link isn't super great, yeah you can use it in the opponent's MP2 as well, but I don't know, seems too slow and needs a lot of set-up, and it's Level 2 or lower monsters, which not a lot of Decks can really use all that well. I guess if you are building a low Level Link Deck, it's okay as a one-off. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted October 15, 2017 Report Share Posted October 15, 2017 until we get the card that searches "Link" cards in the final set of the Vrains era, Packet Link is probably a 3 or 0 kinda card Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Blake Posted October 15, 2017 Report Share Posted October 15, 2017 Powercode is better than Encode and Excode, but... Eh? It's not terrible, but Decode's still better for this sort of thing due to more arrows, despite stricter summoning requirements. Citing the L/R arrows doesn't mean much, because why are you putting a generic Link in the MMZ that isn't proxy (cheaper) or Trigate/Firewall. ~ P O L A R I S ~ Posted October 15, 2017 Report Share Posted October 15, 2017 Powercode Talker is a pretty nasty OTK enabler, I'd happily replace Decode Talker with it, but then again I run Cubics (which can Tribute a Duza to get this to 4600 then replace it with Unification).
