Flash Flyer - Sakura
False BombNormal TrapTarget 1 card you control; destroy it. ====At the time of posting, YGOrganization has not made an article about this; as such, this came from the Wikia (and presumably Maxut/elsewhere).==== I'll add thoughts later, but trying to think of Decks that would like to blow up their own stuff manually like this.Probably something can make use of it. Atypical-Abbie
Finally an easy way to destroy anything you control! I mean, it's a Trap Card, so speed issues, but I am fine with that, since it triggers so many effects. It even works on Spells/Traps, so things like Artifact can use it too. Eshai
Barrage and Diagram did something in return for destroying a card, but you had to run specific cards with them to do so, which could screw a Decks consistency. Personally, I don't like this card because it's kind of boring, whether Spell or Trap, but I do think a destroying your own cards card would be cool if done right. vla1ne
something something yang xings. something something burning abyss. something something every deck that might want this has better (often searchable) ways to do it other than a slow af trap. the card's got interesting applications, but there's more than enough ways to destroy your own card as is, and many of those ways can hit your opponent as well, so a trap like this doesn't exactly make waves. for artifacts, double cyclone/Twin twisters/heavy storm duster/ect are leagues better, in monster based decks, true kings are the flavor of the week, and anywhere else between, you could honestly make more use of raigeki break, needle ceiling, or just about anything else in place of this. there's just no reason to waste space for such a painfully specific card, when other, more versatile cards already exist and do the same thing faster/with better payoff
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Or, you know, you could use Barrage (getting you a level 4, if not even more), Diagram (getting you 1 of several worthwhile cards), Fire King Island (in case you forgot diagram existed), Metalfoes (giving access to a higher damage ceiling or a decent boss), Scrap Dragon (not the best, but hey, it's generic), Wavering Eyes (if you are playing pendulums), Pendulum Sorcerer (if you are playing pals), or True King (which can even be searched either diagram). Yes, it can destroy anything you have on the field, rather than just face-ups, or just monsters. And yes, it is SS2, unlike most other options. However, it is a trap card, making you wait several years before you can actually use it, and you gain nothing other than whatever floats effect you may have. Though cards floating gives card advantage, this takes it away, so oftentimes you are breaking even at best, even after setting this and waiting for the time you actually wanted to pop something to be long passed. This isn't even going into the fact that it can only destroy cards on the field, a restriction that multiple other options (diagram and fire king island, both of which are searchable by terraforming, AFD, and set rotation) do not have. Overall, this is just an awful card. Yes, it kinda does a thing that some decks want, but there are an overwhelming number of options that do it faster, more reliably, and for greater payout.
