Question about Hand Activation

When the monster on the field with an effect to activate a trap card on the hand of the owner, what happen if that trap card is continuous? Does the trap card get activated from the hand onto the field or just on the hand on its own?

Ask your questions here in the future (least ones pertaining to card triggers and stuff)

 

But when you activate a Spell/Trap, you need to have at least one free S/T zone to play it in; even if you activate it from the hand or Deck instead of setting it, etc. So yeah, even if the card is Continuous, it'll just be played on the field and any effects that trigger on activation will go off.
