Rules:
All Leaderboard rules apply.
First to 3 votes or most votes by deadline wins.
All voters must elaborate on their votes or else the vote will be rejected.
Both contestants have the right to refuse votes but must explain why they don't accept it.
Card C votes are allowed in case the voter thinks both cards don't deserve a vote but must elaborate on why he/she thinks so.
Cards must be PM'd to me.
Written cards are allowed.

Winner gets 1 point from the loser; each voter gets 1 point from the person they voted for.
Remove any evidence of the card being made by you to ensure anonymity.
In case a downtime or an emergency happens, the deadlines may be extended.

Deadlines:
The deadline for cards is 48 hours after the challenge has been accepted.
The deadline for votes is 96 hours (4 days) after cards have been posted.
In case of a challenger failing to meet the above deadline without explanation, the challenger slot will open up again, at which point it becomes first-come-first-served between the previous challengers and new submissions.

 

Requirement:

 

Make a Machine Extra Deck Monster, except a LIGHT monster, that allows you to specifically Rank Up into a canon Machine Xyz Monster with a higher Rank than that monster's Level/Rank and the same Attribute as it.

WIND/Rank 4/Machine/Xyz Effect/2350 ATK/2450 DEF

Lore: 2+ Level 4 Machine monsters
Once per Duel, you can also Special Summon this card from your Extra Deck, by destroying 2 Tokens you control. While this card has material, all Level/Rank 4 Machine monsters you control become Level 10, gain 500 ATK and DEF, also they cannot attack directly. Once per turn: You can detach 2 materials from this card; Special Summon 1 Level 10 Machine monster from your Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. If a non-WIND Machine monster(s) is sent from the hand or field to the GY, or if this card is Tributed (Quick Effect): You can Xyz Summon 1 "Skypalace Gangaridai" from your Extra Deck, using this card and 1 Machine monster in your hand only, and if you do, destroy 1 card on the field.

If an Extra Deck Monster (Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Link Monster) would be sent to the Graveyard, banish it instead. If an Extra Deck Monster is banished while ”Propontis, Sea Proteichisma” is face-up on the field: You can Xyz Summon 1 ”Aegaion the Sea Castrum” from your Extra Deck, using it as an Xyz Material (Xyz Materials attached to this card are attached to that monster), and if you do, change any instances of Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Monsters being targeted in its effect to include Link Monsters.

(By now, I know which card belongs to each of you; well, least by one of them having very obvious quirks.)

 

Card A

 

So basically, Rank 4 spam can go make 10 with ease now, or just blow up some Tokens. As an MPB player, I have mixed feelings about it; yeah, I don't need 2 of their own Tokens to Rank 10 for them, which helps a bit (though you pretty much excluded them with the last effect). Though, since Rank 4 is a common thing, I have some apprehension about letting them get access to Number 35/81, etc [also because apparent Gofu engines are coming up nowadays]. Trains also come to mind, so guess this does promote using a R4 variant of them too (if you can figure out how to do it successfully). I do not think Trains even want this card except for Derricrane/faster Night Express with full power if one bothers with going this way.

 

To be honest, I have no clue on what Level 10 Machines that you would want that is actually worth ignoring the cost for. Looking at the current roster for them, either they can all be summoned without problems or Archetype-reliant, etc. Also its relationship to Gangaridai; uh, the only real relation this has to it is because its user in ZEXAL played 2 Level 10s, one that was based on the Titanic. Flavor is kinda there, but that's really it.

 

tl;dr, this is basically promoting Rank 4 Trains if it can ever be done.

 

Card B

 

Oh hello ED hate card (though to be fair, it does banish your stuff too). At most, this card expands Aegaion to hit every inherent ED card and nothing more, which gets better due to VRAINS mechanics forcing ED monsters to their own zone on the field. Granted, you still have to summon this, and Rank 6 isn't exactly consistent nowadays (though it does have viable options).

 

IDK, this does feel like it was designed to break Aegaion in MR4 (although it was already fine on its own due to being specific). Nowadays, I guess this will just be punishing Links.

So let's see...

 

Card A technically allows Rank 4 to be 10 with some added power, but no direct shocks (treating R4 as L10 is veering into anime-only territory) and basically enabling R4 Trains for most intents and purposes. I mentioned MPBs because they're the only Deck besides Trains that would even bother with running Tokens and Machines, though it excludes them from contention. (

 

Card B is basically breaking Aegaion as a floodgate for ED monsters.
