Kajika
Meteorawolf's topic inspired me to make some of my own Kirby cards...so here they are! I'm using the Japanese names, which aren't very different, but that's why the shark card is Gabriel instead of Gabber. So here they are, my first 3 cards. Enjoy! bastionsgirl
The text is too small.
Kajika
Well, I'll start typing the effects, but...why does the text show up that small in the first place? Kirby of the StarsLIGHT/1/Fairy/100/100Select 1 face-up opponent's monster on the field. This card gains half its ATK and DEF and its effect. Treat the selected monster as an Equip Spell Card and equip it to this card. You may use this effect only once per turn, and equip this card with only 1 monster at a time. When this card would be destroyed as a result of battle, the equipped monster would be destroyed instead. Once per turn, you may send a monster equipped to this card to the Graveyard to inflict 500 points of Direct Damage to your opponent. A kinda-watered down Relinquished. But to me it seems a little overpowered... Waddle DeeEARTH/1/Fairy/100/100/UnionOnce per turn, if you control this monster on the field, you can equip it to a face-up "Kirby of the Stars" on your side of the field as an Equip Card, OR unequip it and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. When equipped to "Kirby of the Stars" by this card's effect, if this card is sent to the Graveyard, inflict 500 points of Direct Damage to your opponent. (1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, this card is destroyed instead.) Free firepower for Kirby. Super Demon Beast - GabrielWATER/8/Fish/2800/2200When this card is summoned, Special Summon a "Demon Beast - Gabriel's Sword Shark" from your hand or Deck. By sending a face-up "Demon Beast - Gabriel's Sword Shark" you control to the Graveyard, destroy a card on your opponent's side of the field or a random card in your opponent's hand. This effect can only be activated once per turn, during your Main Phase. If a "Demon Beast - Gabriel's Sword Shark" you control is destroyed, discard a card from your hand to Special Summon a "Demon Beast - Gabriel's Sword Shark" from your hand or Deck. If summoned this way, it cannot be used to activate this card's effect. My favorite boss. He can shoot off little sharks and make more, so I reflected that in his effect. arpeejajo
Really good effects that actually resemble what the character can do. Keep up the good work.
Weather Duelist
Well' date=' I'll start typing the effects, but...why does the text show up that small in the first place?[/quote'] It's because the card maker is designed to shrink the text to fit in the space given. You lucky, though. Back when I was your age.. we didn't have any of them fancy smancy card programs. When we wrote text too long.. it would tiny as a ant, and leave half the text area blank. Made me think: Darn cityfolk and their flying machines...
meteorawolf
Great cards! Where did you get the idea from Kajika? jk.I like the Kirby card it's good, I thought of making mine like that.
Kajika
Wow! I'm glad you guys like these, they're fun to make! And in the meantime, I made some new cards! Demon Beast - Gabriel's Sword SharkWATER/2/Fish/600/600This card can be treated as an Equip Card and equipped to a face-up "Kirby of the Stars" you control as if it were equipped by the effect of "Kirby of the Stars". Tribute a "Kirby of the Stars" equipped with this card to Special Summon a "Kirby of the Stars - Sword Kirby" from your hand or Deck. This monster may attack your opponent's Life Points directly. Finally got the ability mechanism in there. With Majuu (demon beast) cards, Kirby just needs to suck them up to get abilities! Of course, Shark-chan can be used (IMO, better) with Gabriel for a direct attack, explodey-slashy combo! At least for a turn. Or two. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by tributing a face-up "Kirby of the Stars" you control equipped with a Warrior-type monster or by the effect of a monster with the effect of summoning "Kirby of the Stars - Sword Kirby" in its card text. This monster inflicts Piercing damage. This card can attack all monsters on your opponent's side of the field in the same battle position. When this card is destroyed as result of battle, Special Summon a "Kirby of the Stars" from your Graveyard. It cannot activate its effect this turn. First, note the alternate art of DOOM! (From Squeak Squad.) That aside, Kirby's Ability mechanism is fully in effect. You can use a Sword-type Majuu or an opponent's Warrior-type to make Sword Kirby. And when Kirby gets hurt, he just loses his Ability Star. His ability is based on Final Cutter attack -- originally for Cutter, but now for Sword. And I modified Waddle Dee to act like the Majuu cards. Lookee!

meteorawolf
lol yeah I remember saying that many times when I saw Blooper.I'd make Ghost Kirby, but I can't find pics of him.
Kajika
Alright! GHOOOOOOOOOOOST CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARDSSSSSSSSSSS!Took a little improvisation, but I found pics. Kirby of the Stars - Ghost KirbyDARK/5/Zombie/0/0This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by tributing a face-up "Kirby of the Stars" you control equipped with a Zombie-type monster or by the effect of a monster with the effect of summoning "Kirby of the Stars - Ghost Kirby" in its card text. You may treat this card as an Equip Card and equip it to a monster your opponent controls. Take control of the monster equipped with this card. When the equipped monster is destroyed as a result of battle, Special Summon this card. If summoned this way, this card may not activate its effect this turn. When this card is destroyed as result of battle, Special Summon a "Kirby of the Stars" from your Graveyard. It cannot activate its effect this turn. Kekekekeke...Possess your enemies over and over...It'll be hard to stop this spirit! Super Demon Beast - TedhaunDark/6/Zombie/2200/1800When this card is summoned, Special Summon a "Demon Beast - Tedhaun's Ghost" from your hand or Deck. When a "Demon Beast - Tedhaun's Ghost" is summoned, select a monster your opponent controls. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the selected monster cannot attack or change battle position. When a "Demon Beast - Tedhaun's Ghost" is destroyed by battle, discard the top card of your Deck to Special Summon a "Demon Beast - Tedhaun's Ghost" from your hand or Deck. This card can be treated as an Equip Card and equipped to a face-up "Kirby of the Stars" you control as if it were equipped by the effect of "Kirby of the Stars". Tribute a "Kirby of the Stars" equipped with this card to Special Summon a "Kirby of the Stars - Ghost Kirby" from your hand or Deck. His enemies are frozen by his special possesion technique...his minions are ready to attack! Demon Beast - Tedhaun's GhostDARK/3/Zombie/1000/1000You may destroy this card to destroy a monster targeted by the effect of "Super Demon Beast - Tedhaun". You can only use this effect once per turn, during your Main Phase. They attack when their enemies have no way to fight back...the power of the Ghosts is a force to be reckoned with! So, how do you guys like these? I based the effects for Tedhaun on his attack: he freezes Kirby, and a little ghost blows up in Kirby's face! Maybe, if I can find the pic, I'll make a Ghost Medal card. And Meteorawolf, if you're looking for Ghost Kirby's pic (I used Rainbow Resort), use an Ability pic from Squeak Squad-- just change the URL (put "ghost" in place of the ability in the URL). Kajika
Rainbow Resort. Awesome place, full of pics. And after looking on Wiki JP, I can confirm the Japanese names they use for bosses! Tedhaun = "teddohoon" = Haunted backwards. @The Average Guy: Check the topic "Kirby,Chaos, Boo, Shy Guy Cards"...you'll figure out what the Blooper is for. But yeah, it has nothing to do with Kirby. Kajika
Well...I like Bloopers, Meteo-kun doesn't. So after my protesting of making a Blooper card, Meteo-kun did...but it just runs away cause he (?) doesn't like them. Different thread, just brought into mine. Kajika
WHOAMG NEW POST! I *finally* got around to finishing up some new Kirbeh Cards! This time around, it's UFO Kirby and pals! Demon Beast - UFOLIGHT/4/Machine/1500/1200This card can be treated as an Equip Card and equipped to a face-up "Kirby of the Stars" you control as if it were equipped by the effect of "Kirby of the Stars". Tribute a "Kirby of the Stars" equipped with this card to Special Summon a "Kirby of the Stars - UFO Kirby" from your hand or Deck. Whenever this card attacks or is attacked, flip a coin. If the result is Tails, the battle involving this card is negated. Well, this one was a little tough. The only thing that UFO does is shoot lasers and float around at the speed of annoying. So I incorporated the "floaty" bit into the card. There was better art for this card, but I wouldn't be able to put a background behind it...hence the pixel-y goodness here. Kirby of the Stars - UFO KirbyLIGHT/6/Machine/2100/1700This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by tributing a face-up "Kirby of the Stars" you control equipped with a Machine-type monster or by the effect of a monster with the effect of summoning "Kirby of the Stars - UFO Kirby" in its card text. At each of your Standby Phases, add a Charge Counter to this card (max 3). (When a monster with a Charge Counter attacks, remove all Charge Counters from it.) When this card has 3 Charge Counters on it and attacks, destroy the opponent's monster immediately with this card's effect without damage calculation. When this card is destroyed as result of battle, Special Summon a "Kirby of the Stars" from your Graveyard. It cannot activate its effect on this this turn (if it is not your turn, it cannot activate its effect on your next turn). UFO Kirby. One of the better abilities. I chose to reflect Kirby's "CHARGIN MUH LAZER" effect in this card (the fact that most Kirby enemies die in one hit notwithstanding.) But what's really important about this card is that it is the first card with a changed effect (which will now be in effect for all Kirby cards): When Kirby is resummoned, it cannot activate its effect until the second turn it's back on the field. Seems a little less cheap. (Of course, if you guys don't think so, I'll probably change it back.) And here's a preview for an upcoming card: Magic Kirby.Kirby of the Stars - Magic KirbyDARK/7/Spellcaster/2000/1000This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by tributing a face-up "Kirby of the Stars" you control equipped with a Spellcaster-type monster or by the effect of a monster with the effect of summoning "Kirby of the Stars - Magic Kirby" in its card text. During your Main Phase, you may Tribute this face-up card to roll a die and Special Summon a "Kirby of the Stars" afterward. It may not use its effect on this turn. If the result is 1, you gain 300 Life Points for every monster your opponent controls. If the result is 2, you gain 300 Life Points for every monster you control. If the result is 3, draw 2 cards. If the result is 4, your opponent drwas 2 cards. If the result is 5, Special Summon a "Kirby of the Stars" monster from your hand or Deck instead of a "Kirby of the Stars". If the result is 6, destroy all monsters your opponent controls. When this card is destroyed as result of battle, Special Summon a "Kirby of the Stars" from your Graveyard. It cannot activate its effect on this this turn (if it is not your turn, it cannot activate its effect on your next turn). Whee! Roulette Time! NOTICE: I will be at the beach this upcoming week, until next Sunday. So there will be at least a one-week hiatus. But don't worry. I plan to be back with new Kirby cards soon! (Maybe even some Chao cards...)
