Why is this suddenly relevant other than pray2God4value memes with Dragon Ravine?

 

Because of the Dragon Ravine meme!

 

You can now run "6" of this in any pendulum deck running the ravine engine, which really means you're running 4 of it + Destrudo, thanks to Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon. It's a massive growth in chances of pulling off the combo, which rewards you with a free Meteorburst/Ancient Fairy Dragon for combo enabling. Pendulums benefit from extra bodies on board at worst, giving you a Link 2 before the PS, and outright profit from the SS at best.

 

This isn't relevant generically, because you could just run 3 Darkwurm anyway, but in context of Pendulum Decks, yeah, the engine is now more likely to hit the optimal play.

you can also search a Supreme King Gate with its monster effect and place that in scale, then make meteorburst for a rank 7

Yeah, it's not relevant until 1004 when we get the bladefly retrain, tho. Not enough generics that use tokens to ladder efficiently without it.

I use it the way infernities did it (or do it, not sure if they still do) in some kind of D-Hero hybrid, providing a free lvl 4 body if dumped or the ablity to mass summoning is something that deck really needed, although as a scale there are not many ways to search it (not dump it) in a proper way outside of pendulum decks

Gaia with tomahawk and 2 tokens, afterwards another gaia below it or proxy dragon, afterwards using the emz gaia with one token for firewall sounds decent to me and does open up 3 zones for extra deck summons.

Sadly Arc Pendulum does not combo with Joker, considering otherwise Joker + Sky Iris would lead into tomahawk + an extra deck filled with Joker, Synchron, Persona/Light Phenix and Arc Pendulum, too bad one does require 1 additional odd-eyes pendulum to do so.

Joker is a potential huge player in making plays with it, he it sorc or tomahawk plays, due to finding it/sorc/rev

1.) I meant that popping joker with iris to trigger arc does not work, obviously joker has a lot of synergy with arc.

2.) Beyond that I am not denying Synchron is not very good, in fact I simply tried to find at least a niche use in which it can do something, however sadly even that does not really work.

3.) How do you come to the conclusion I am denying joker is incredible ?

What I am saying about the tomahawk play is that one can still get 3 extra deck zones without investing more than 1/3 of one's extra deck, of course it can be better than that, it is just that even right now it somewhat works, given one could efficiently get out Tomahawk (outside of the destrudo darkwurm play).

On top of that, it only gives you 2 zones. If firewall is in emz, with Gaia/Proxy below it, you are only unlocking 2 zones in addition to Gaia/proxy.

 

You can make firewall without laddering, but you can't make an mutual link without devoting another monster, which would normally be pretty essential to combo starting/was used in the process of making tomahawk.

1.) It is as efficient as it can get right now, whatever that is worth, of course the wind retrain increasing the value behind that, however having to summon 2 link monsters to link multiple zones (in this case at least 3), as well as tomahawk and meteorburst are already 4 cards, so it would not get much better than that if you intend on laddering for Tomahawk.

       (i) Summon Gaia in the EMZ

       (ii) Summon Proxy below it

       (iii) Use a remaining token + Gaia to Summon Firewall to the MM Zone Proxy Dragon links, so it works and creates 2 linked MM Zones and the free EM Zone.

3.) Which is the reason why Tomahawk is not as amazing for preparing firewall if you are not willing to invest that much. Link itself is an expensive mechanics (resource-wise) if you want to get the most out of it.
