Honestly, far and away the best target for Arc Pendulum.

 

The monster effect lacking a OPT is hilarious, the effect as a scale is good and easy to plan around, the summon from hand is relevant (mostly aiding in OTKs) ever blue moon, it's a Lv. 5+ DARK Pendulum, just an outstanding card.

I was about to say the same about Arc.

That being said, this card being a valid target for Joker, Iris, Arc, Pendulum Wizard and Startime is already quite good for a card, which can be used to continue plays.

Dissolver + 1 (Level 5 or higher Dark Pendulum or Performapal) = Gatlinghoul: to burn for a massive amount

Dissolver + any pendulum = Vortex Dragon: to Summon Pendulum's personal Cyber Dragon Infinity

Not to mention this card can allow spare Pendulum Scales to be absorbed into said Infinity and simply increasing damage output by 2k to otk if necessary.

Unlike Performapal Odd-Eyes Synchron an actually amazing card with amazing targets (given that link rules did hit Synchron, though to be fair Synchron + a Level 7 Pendulum + a Level 5 Pendulum can lead Meteorburst into Tomahawk to summon 6 cards for link fodder).

All in all an amazing card to promote "Pendulum Fusion".

Edit: The Pendulum Effect makes me wish Starving Venemy would finally be released (alongside Anthelion).

Yeah I love this but can I ask if you can use this card's effect to Fuse it and the Arc Pendulum into SKD Starving Venom? Since Arc isn't a monster there were some issues with Pendulum Fusion and the OG Starving Venom, does this work? Also how do you reliably trigger Arc Pendulum without running a load of shitty odd-eyes cards since I don't want to play Performapal (other than Skullcrobat). Problem I have is that my primary way of popping cards is with Sky Iris, but that means searching Arc Pend and another Odd-Eyes without using Sky Iris first. Just seems like a bit of a far shoot.

you can make supreme venom

 

It doesn't require the monsters to be on board like OG Staving Venom does.

 

You defo play ppals or magicians, moreso ppal. Sky Iris, Revolution, and Spiral Flame Strike search Arc, while Iris, Spiral Flame Strike, and Sorcerer trigger it.

 

It's not really hard to do.

But Pendulum scales are on the field. The problem was with them being DARK

 

Also only reason I want to play pends is to FTK with Lyrilusc + 2x SKD Starving Venom some of the time and the EARTH Pend Sorc doesn't help with that

Looking it up, official rulings say Pendulum Fusion can summon Starving Venom. Saying something like "because they're dark" doesn't make sense by game rules. Not being "monsters on the field" would make more sense, but would still be strange.
