Flash Flyer - Sakura
I'd rather not make two separate threads for Yusaku and Akira, so just grouping them together. [spoiler=Yusaku] Flame AdministratorLink 2 | FIRE | Cyberse | Link | EffectATK 1200W / SE2 Cyberse monstersAll Link Monsters you control gain 800 ATK. You can only control 1 "Flame Administrator". Limit CodeContinuous TrapWhen this card is activated: Place 1 Limit Counter on it for each Cyberse Link Monster in your GY, then Special Summon 1 "Code Talker" monster from your Extra Deck, and if you do, equip this card to it. Once per turn, during your End Phase, remove 1 Limit Counter from this card. When the last Limit Counter is removed from this card, destroy the equipped monster. When this card leaves the field, destroy the equipped monster. While this card is on your field or in your GY, "Limit Code" cannot be activated. [spoiler=Akira] Tindangle HoundLevel 7 | DARK | Fiend | Flip | Effect2500 / 0FLIP: You can target 1 other face-up monster on the field; this card gains ATK equal to that monster's original ATK, then change that monster to face-down Defense Position. Each monster your opponent controls loses 1000 ATK for each monster linked to it. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the GY: You can target 1 Set monster on the field; change it to face-up Defense Position. Tindangle AngelLevel 4 | DARK | ??? | Flip | Effect500 / 1800FLIP: You can Special Summon 1 Flip monster from your hand or GY in face-down Defense Position, then if this effect is activated during your opponent's Battle Phase, end the Battle Phase. Tindangle Base GardnaLevel 5 | DARK | ??? | Effect??? / 2300When a monster(s) is Set on your field: You can Special Summon this card from your hand in Defense Position. When a monster(s) is Special Summoned to a zone an opponent's Link Monster points to: You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Tindangle" monster from your hand. Lemoine PointContinuous TrapIf you control no monsters, destroy this card. While a "Tindangle" monster is in the Monster Zone, your opponent's monsters cannot target face-down Defense Position monsters for attacks. (For now, I suppose assume that Tindangles are all Fiends. We do not know what Gardna's ATK is; assume 0 or something low.) Akira's ones are far more interesting to be honest, but yeah. (At this time, I haven't reviewed the episode, but finished watching it.)
The Warden
I'm not too sure on this, but could Tindangle be a portmanteau of Tindr and triangle? I mean you flick with Tindr and these are flips. I mean I dunno if Japan even knows about Tindr course.
The Highlander
Oh yay Yusaku gets another convenient link 2 or 3 he will never use again after this game (vector square, underclock, bumper and now this), though this one is at the very least cute to empower link spam.Limit Code is actually cute, given that it actually gives Excode the attention it deserves or at least makes it playable. Flash Flyer - Sakura
@Broke. N: Japan probably knows about Tinder (or they have their own equivalent of it), but IDK either. Not like the producers are going to reveal the naming thing anytime soon. But general thoughts:Flame Admin is meh; boosting is nice and it can ladder for Links but still Cyberse-reliant for whatever reason. Limit Code is fine, I suppose. Least you can make larger Links faster; albeit being limited to Decode/Encode/Excode (and the Link 2, but you should already be able to make it without needing this). Hound is anti-Link; not sure how it'll work in other Flip decks (i.e. Subterror, Dolls if they're still relevant, etc); effect seems like it'd work, but idk. Angel is fine.Base Gardna's summon condition is okay, but still requires opponent to play Links to really get things going. (Though, the whole of this series is Links anyway, so...) I mean you flick with Tindr and these are flips. I mean I dunno if Japan even knows about Tindr course. This seems like an educated enough hypothesis. This card below too perfectly encapsulates Grindr in card form to be a coincidence so there's certainly precedent.

Dokutah
note on Tindangle:Tindangle is derived from the Hounds of Tindalos by Frank Belknap Long (which then incorporated into Cthulhu mythos) and the Triangle motives of the monsters (thus *Tindangle*). That's why Akira's Tindangles look like Eldritch Abominations. They're related to Lovecraftian horrors.hell damn Entity Archetype 2.0~ me want apparently their playstyle is a balance middle ground of having powerful Flips to trigger and having battle ready monster to control opponent output annd securing the Flip monsters. but the current line up still need buff i think. still too battle reliant even with with the said premise
The Warden
Huh, that's a pretty neat factoid, and explains why Hound is the sort-of boss. Does Lemoine Point also relate to the mythos?

Reminder, Reiji mastered all of the summon conditions in ARC-V; Akira's only done anti-Link stuff thus far (as far as Hound and Gardna go). Likely may have a Link for him, if the previews show anything, but we gotta see. Surely he can't just rely on Hound and Angel for plays. (Probably will use this thread to show next week's stuff, but we'll see.) ====Nice to know the backstory behind Tindangles though.
