Astro Dude
Okay, time to start a thread on what I would like to see as a good remake: Fire Emblem Blazing Sword the remake or Fire Emblem Echoes II The Blazing Sword of Lycia or whatever the name of the continent Blazing Sword comes from. Similar to the original, you take on the role of a tactician. Like Robin, in fact, one of the things I would like to see is us getting in the thick of the battle, you know, customize your avatar and have him/her enter combat, like Robin from Awakening. And anyone who played Blazing Sword knows what to expect. Here's the kicker, you can get all the characters, and this game will have Casual Mode, Phoenix Mode, a map selection, rematchable enemies in the form of morphs, DLC for Overclass, cash, items, exp etc. Another good change is until Ninian and Nils are revealed to be dragons, they are dancers. They should be like their heroes counterparts: Dancers have been compotent since awakening, I mean look at Olivia and Azura. They don't just sit there and give units a free turn. The point? Ninian becomes a playable unit in Chapter 29 onwards recovering thanks to Bramimond and can function as a dancer and a dragon. She can do it in Heroes so why not here as well? Nils too. Basically everything the 3ds games have only better. And the scenes should be fully voiced. I hope the voice actor strike is over by the time this game comes into production, because I can't think of anyone to voice Lyn other than Wendee Lee. Yuri Lowenthal and Patrick Seitz will reprise the roles of Eliwood and Hector respectively, And among them: Florina: Julie KliewerSerra: Kate HigginsMatthew: Ben DiskinLucius: Michael SinterniklaasRebecca: Hunter Mackenzie AustinPriscilla: Marcella Lentz-PopeRaven and Karel: Bryce PapenbrookNinian: Brianna KnickerbockerHawkeye: Taylor HenryNino: Sarah BlandyJaffar: Walden JamesLloyd: Kaiji TangUrsula:Misty LeeKyle Hebert as BartreAs for other characters, I see Mikey as Erk, Keith Silverstein as Nergal, Alexis Tipton/Laura Bailey as Sonia, Kira Buckland as Isadora and Karla, Cindy Robinson as Vaida and Sam Regal as Canas. Anyway, this is my take on a Fire Emblem Blazing Sword remake, but what do you guys think?

~British Soul~
I have to agree with cow-kun here, I think the thread title should be changed to reflect the fact that this is speculation.

~British Soul~
Better? I wouldn't mind a remake of this game though to be perfectly honest, though whether it happens or not is down to Ninty/Intelligent Systems, and even then it'll probs take like a year or so. Phantom Roxas
Thanks, now about that title: Fire Emblem Echoes II: The Blazing Sword of Lycia? "Echoes" seems like it could be a subtitle referring to remakes in general, so there's no need to specify it as "Echoes II". If they have more remakes, you don't need to number them, as what really matters is which game is being remake. You also do not need to include "of Lycia", which only seems to be there to have a title similar to "Shadows of Valentia". "Fire Emblem Echoes: The Blazing Sword" would be far simpler while still maintaining the important parts of the title.

Then again I assumed the continent was called Lycia, so the title I came up with made no sense. Then that's what it'll be called. Fire Emblem Echoes: The Blazing Sword. And about the gameplay features: We should have Casual mode so we don't have to go through the frustration of losing characters, which Classic mode is known for. And I guess between chapters we can give options like "Would you like to go to a DLC map or continue through the main story, to keep in tune with the linearity of the original. Meaning you move on to the next chapter or go to a dlc map. Auto class change should return as well like when you reach level 21, you change your class. Like Matthew for example ca go from a Thief to an Assassin when he reaches Lv. 21. Weapon limits should return, and we should have Ninian as an actual battle unit. Meaning playing Heroes they improved Ninian, from having 0 Str to about 36. Have Ninian be both a Dancer and a Manakete or Dragon unit. Chapter 29 can have that Bramimond restore Ninian to full strength and give her a Dragonstone. This way, she can dance for her allies and face her foes in her dragon form. You know, have her be more than a pretty face. And in an epilogue, some time after Roy is born and Eliwood notices Ninian is getting weaker, he takes her to the Dragon Gate, opens it up for her and has her return to reunite with Nils, if Eliwood and Ninian have an S rank support. Speaking of, the original had 5 supports per unit. Why not have one unit have all their supports? It worked for gthe last 3 3ds games, why not this? Not bad, unless this idea should be scrapped. Your call.
