XDIt's a competitive first-person game, with varying characters and abilities. Some are support, others offense, tank, and defense. You capture objectives or get the most kills. Not so much Call of Duty competitive first-person. Think more Team Fortress 2 competitive first-person, as the characters all have their own distinct personalities and interests, it's pretty colorful, and has a little tongue and cheek humor here and there.
