Cards:
[spoiler=Card A]

Paragon Theseus
LIGHT/Level 4/Fairy/Pendulum/Effect/Scale 5
1800/700

Pendulum Effect:
While there is a card in your other Pendulum Zone that is originally Fairy monster, this card's name become "Sanctuary in the Sky". Once per turn: You can target 1 other card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Set 1 Counter Trap Card directly from your Deck or GY. It can be activated during this turn.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Monster Effect:
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target up to 3 Counter Trap Cards in your GY; shuffle them into the Deck and draw 1 card, then gain 500 LP for each card shuffled this way. If you activate a Counter Trap Card: You can add this card from your Extra Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Paragon Theseus" once per turn.

[spoiler=Card B]The High Court in the Sky
Field Spell

Effect:
(This card's name is always treated as "The Sanctuary in the Sky".)
When this card is activated; you can send 1 Fairy monster from your Deck to your GY. Once per turn, during the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 LIGHT Fairy monster from your hand or field; until the end of the Main Phase, you can activate Counter Traps from your hand. You must have a Fairy monster in your field or GY, and only Fairy monsters, to activate and to resolve this effect. Once per turn: If you negate the activation of a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect; you can Special Summon 1 of your banished LIGHT Fairy monsters. You can only activate 1 “The High Court in the Sky” per turn.

FINE I'LL REVIEW

Card A: Paragon Theseus cool name

LIGHT - Level 4 - Fairy/Pendulum/Effect - 1800/700 - Scale 5  Scale 5 is iffy but at least it isn't scale 4 (that would suck)

Pendulum: While there is a card in your other Pendulum Zone that is originally Fairy monster, this card's name becomes "Sanctuary in the Sky".

maybe a bit generous. Would rather it just say any card that was originally a Fairy for more consistency.

Once per turn: You can target 1 other card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Set 1 Counter Trap Card directly from your Deck or GY. It can be activated during this turn.

Well, that's pretty good, I would rather it destroy 1 Set card you control though since then you would be encouraged to run non-Counter Traps that could chain to the effect, although then again there's "and if you do" so maybe not.

Monster: When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target up to 3 Counter Trap Cards in your GY; shuffle them into the Deck and draw 1 card, then gain 500 LP for each card shuffled this way. If you activate a Counter Trap Card: You can add this card from your Extra Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Paragon Theseus" once per turn.

"up to" is pretty important and probably makes the card good in just about any Deck running enough Solemns. There's also a loop here that I find disturbing. you can Summon it, draw a card, have it destroyed, activate another Counter Trap, shuffle the Trap back into the Deck, and it keeps looping. Considering how annoying the archetype is already I don't know if that's exactly fair.

The High Court in the Sky you guys did the same card? Maybe you should've allowed Umi

Field - Spell less creative but simplicity is sometimes good.

(This card's name is always treated as "The Sanctuary in the Sky".)

Yay I don't have to run Sanctuary of the Sky anymore

When this card is activated; you can send 1 Fairy monster from your Deck to your GY.

Sure. Supports Fabled. Not complaining

Wait Main Phase? Idk if that's good enough. I would rather it say "until the end of the phase" so Battle Phase could happen.

Once per turn: If you negate the activation of a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect; you can Special Summon 1 of your banished LIGHT Fairy monsters. You can only activate 1 “The High Court in the Sky” per turn.

So basically it makes up for the fact that.... OH it's Chain Burn. Quick Effect Banish to avoid destruction, and then you can activate a Trap to bring back the Banished monster.

Imma say Card B wins here. While Card A was really creative, the loop could probably break the card in that you can get continuous advantage out of simply doing what the Deck already does.

Card A while lacking that creativity of being a Pendulum monster, actually replaces Sanctuary of the Sky. It also brings in elements of Chain Burn to protect your monsters and supports Fabled a bit. Not to say the card is flawless however. The fact that you can activate Traps from your hand any time you want basically protects all of your Traps at all times. Sure, they can destroy the Field Spell, but that would mean you'd rather just set your Traps in that scenario, especially since you have to wait until the Main Phase to do something about it and they can just MST it during the draw phase. That kind of removes the utility of the effect, so I recommend changing it up a bit.

A little flaw on an otherwise pretty detailed and well written vote, which make me feel bad to reject it. The loop you mentioned on Card A costs a Normal Summon on top of a hard OPT, leaving more valuable assets like Artemis and Minerva dead in hand (unless you have multiple Theseus and Ariadne at the same time, but with the deck's current consistency I highly doubt that) and making your opinion that it could break the deck sounds kinda exaggerated.

Once this is addressed the vote will be gladly accepted.

Like Belle said, once the vote's arguments are fixed, (and .Belle approved it), it shall be accepted.

also bump.

What I meant about the "loop" is that you can get advantage every turn without any consequences. It doesn't really matter that it's OPT and requires a NS. It will keep going until the card is banished, and even then you can just have another one. At the cost of a NS every turn, you get an additional draw, recycle at least 1 Counter Trap, and recycle itself when you activate your next Counter Trap (which isn't a if, it's a when). In a Deck like Counter Fairies where the perpetual advantage is a lot of what the Deck already is, that can be BIG for the long haul.

Hope that clears the situation up.

Sigh, i really don't understand where NS > draw 1 became broken. I played enough games with CFs to know that they really can't maintain their advantage with decks like Spy or Dino, and if you're making a deck (or cards, for this site) without considering what these 2 decks can do, then you are not a good player.

And even with my card in account, CFs just really can't compete with aforementioned decks. Artemis/Minerva still hold NS priority, and the deck still in severely need of Fairy tutor. Not to mention, I gave my card more than enough limitations to not break it. If I want to keep up with good enabler like Barrage or Diagram's standard and really want to make this card a 1 card out Spy/Dino, I could make his PE grab Ariadne instead of another trap and/or make his NS eff go off on PS.

That said, I have no intention of dragging this any longer. It just pissed me of that a card in the deck that I have gameplay experience would lose.
