"Py'hrt! Front and center! You're the only student who has yet to introduce themselves, and being tardy won't give you a free pass. I also need to speak with you in particular after today's classes are over."

The last part of her statement was concerning.  Why would she want to talk to him specifically after class?  The thought wandered to the back of his mind, as he strode to meet her in the center of the gymnasium, alongside that drunken brute.  That's when the doors flew open again, revealing a hoomin female.  It seemed like their teacher for this portion of classes was getting a little irked by the tardiness of the student's.

"Punctuality is dead.  Well, step forward, introduce yourself to the class, and if you have a note for your tardiness, let me see it."

Nice to meet y'all, I'm Mandy Leona.  As for what I can do...well...let's just say...this cat has claws~" She slowly lifted her hands up and everyone now could see as her nails started to grow longer and at the tips of them, quite sharp. "As you can see, I can pretty much control my nails to quite the extent. But its far the extent of it..."  The girl's nails shot out quickly, embedding themselves into where they landed.  Vix'us wasn't all too impressed...it was actually quite disgusting how this female's anatomy was used as a projectile.  He cringed, but shook the feeling, and cleared his mind.  With it linked with all the other's he boomed his introduction.

"For those who may not have met me, I am Vix'us Pyr'hrt, student of the proud Vol'thoo'maranian people."  A blue flame started to wrap itself around his feet, travelling up his anatomy, until it tipped off his head.  "I am holder of a power lost to my people, the Vol Force.  Not even I know the limit's of it's capabilities...but to me, it seems limitless."  His eyes turned sharp, and his mind hostile.  "I will not rest until humanity bows at my claws...this is merely a means to that end."  And with that, he went to join his classmates, picking at the tight gym shorts that hugged his hind-end.

“I’m sure I could answer that if I were to have a reason to~♪

It’s not smart to show all the cards immediately now, is it? Perhaps you have a deal you wish to make~?” Rain frowned, shaking his head. “Apologies, but it seems as if my schedule for tonight will be quite occupied with other clients. Perhaps later~♪”

"Aww, I figured you wanted to keep your little secret..." Devin muttered as he walked away, eyes sharply glued to the trap. She realized that his feminity wasn't a secret he was trying to keep, but maybe he would think she meant something else...

For the time being, she turned her attention back to the rest of the class. Randall was just finishing his presentation as Rain had walked away, but the shapeshifter was unimpressed. He was just a brute, like his boorish attitude implied. The second impact he made caught her eye a little more, though it didn't change her assessment of him. No sooner had the moron stepped down than Bloodstone spoke up to Alex.

"If you don't want to come up here, Alex Nathanielsen, I don't have telekinesis or some other sort of power to move you to me. However, Alex Nathanielsen, who is the son of known villain King of Spades and Brooke Clover, you aren't in your family's lavish home anymore. In this gymnasium, I am the law, and no amount of the illusions you can cast will change that. Don't let your hubris or history of mischief trick you into thinking the most esteemed school in Lowhaven would take any run-of-the-mill villain as the physical education teacher. We have shorter classes today, but expect a special assignment for you in particular the next time we're here."

"He deserves it for stealing my look." Devin maintained a calm composure, sadistically enjoying his potential suffering behind the scenes. The fact that he was an entitled brat only made the shapeshifter revel in his pain more.

However, the tone of the class would soon change. A drunken top tier villain acting like a fool, a new catgirl, and that weird bird creature from before... dressed as a Japanese school girl in gym. They made sure to shift the mood, and while the bird wasn't quite wise to humans... she couldn't help but feel bad for him. He seemed to be male, and he must not have realized what he was doing... Surely she could help him out, even if he was looking to subjugate her and oters? Sidling up to him as he returned to the crowd, Devin cleared her throat.

"So, uh... I hate to tell you this, Vix'us," She mumbled to the avian alien, "But what you're wearing is... reserved for young females. Traditionally, those in Japan... So you looked a bit... out of place. Stupid, even. Next time, try a loose shirt, with some baggy shorts, alright? It'll get people to take you more seriously."

 "Damn Brat"

x393wz.jpg

Bloodstone scanned Alex's body for a while, before calmly making her reply.

Alex was stunned for a brief amount of time. How did she know his father? Then again, he had made a name for himself in the illusionary department, so it was that big of a shock. But what about his mother? She is almost completely unknown to world, other than the fact she was his father's +1 at formal events. He eventually guessed that it was probably common knowledge for a school to known the pupils' parents. He didn't exactly pay attention to the rest of the speech, so no lesson learnt I guess. After that, his body decided that it wanted to just lie on the floor and just think while isolating itself from the world for a few minutes. For the first few seconds, he looked around and checked to see if anyone noticed. Didn't look like it, although a certain girl did give him an awfully strange look. He shrugged it off continued with his flop.

Once he decided it was enough thought for the day, he stood up to see that a likely drunk, judging by his wobbly posture, a girl with a black necklace and seemingly long nails and a 7ft seemingly sentient bird wearing female clothes had all entered the room. The hell had he missed?

He noticed the girl previously stink-eyeing him was mumbling to the sentient bird. Did she know this bird thing? Or was she just criticizing something? He did seem to be wearing female Japanese clothing. Maybe she was giving him some human fashion tips. After briefly contemplating the interaction he turned his attention onto the stage, hoping the teacher (Alex forgot her name) would come back sometime soon.

"So this is what you're capable of... Bloody Mary indeed, eh? You think you're real scary right now, don't you? You think I'm scared of you when I have every hero out there to contend with, all the ones who want to beat me senseless, throw me in jail... all the ones who already have? I already have a goddamn arch-nemesis, you extra. Threatening me with losing my eye... What kind of villain falls back on cheap thrats like that? You think that's some sort of deterrent? Like I thought... bloody hero mindset. I'm not gonna waste time THREATENING those scumbags. I go hard. If I tell somebody I'm capable of wiping them out in a single shot... I take that shot."

And then, in that moment, the two exchanged blows. Kess fired a point-blank lightning bolt at Mary, and Mary - true to her word - stabbed Kess's eye. They actually did it! I can smell the thunder girl's blood from here. I hope it tastes even half as good as it smells!

"Do you want to have some real fun?"

"I think the two of you have had enough fun for now. I know you brutes are just here to cause mayhem and all, but please remember that this is, in fact, a school and not your personal playground."

"She's right. That's enough, you two," Carnivile interjected, considerably more stern than she had been up until this point. As she moved toward the two girls who had attacked each other, she continued, "I want to be the fun teacher for your school year, but there are times where I have to put my foot down. Come on, I'm bringing the two of you to the nurse's office. Mary, can you stand up after that, or am I carrying you?"

It took Mary a moment to realize she had been spoken to. As she came back down to Earth she gave a shudder. "Oh...Oh pardon me ma'am. I'll be right behind." As she said this her curious gaze turned to the girl who had interrupted them.

"For those who may not have met me, I am Vix'us Pyr'hrt, student of the proud Vol'thoo'maranian people. I am holder of a power lost to my people, the Vol Force. Not even I know the limit's of it's capabilities...but to me, it seems limitless. I will not rest until humanity bows at my claws...this is merely a means to that end."

Bloodstone applauded the alien's introduction. "Pyr'hrt, Leona, make sure you don't show up late again, note or not. This also applies to anyone who made it on time; I take tardiness seriously. Whatever it is you plan on doing with what you've learned in this gymnasium - whether it's the enslavement of the unevolved apes most of us share a species with, or just a simple revenge plot - you won't see it through unless you learn the most important lesson of all: Punctuality. A villain who's late to their own crime is easily captured by heroes. You'll do well to remember that. Again, we have short classes today, so spend the rest of the period as you see fit. The next time we have class, your training begins."

Rain Mirren

mMh3ba1.png

”Aww, I figured you wanted to keep your little secret...”

Rain’s head turned slightly, but not facing Devin. He wasn’t too worried. It was probably a bluff, or something only minor at best - or worst - anyways. The girl had spent next to no significant time around him, so he considered it fairly improbable she would have had managed to gain any sort of dirt on him. Still, it was mildly intriguing. For someone to attempt to bluff in the first place, it means they had a reason to do so. Intimidation didn’t seem to be the case, nor did blackmail - in its more extreme form, at least. His tongue rolled over his lips involuntarily as thoughts streamed about within his mind.

Hm… I wonder if it has anything to do earlier with her hesitation in asking for a deal before. But if it’s regarding transporting organics, I’m not really going to get any further without some deception of my own, and I’d rather not flat out lie in my own business, that’s just bad PR...

The effiminate boy scratched his head. The girl was definitely someone that he wanted to know more about, but it also wasn’t that practical to do so. Not that things of that nature usually stopped him, but that it would just be more of a hassle. Rain let out a quiet sigh, his thoughts near immediately interrupted by the arrival of more tardy students, one of which appeared to be…

“A giant space-void alien bird in Japanese schoolgirl gym clothes…?”

He couldn’t help but let out a small burst of laughter. That was definitely one of the more… interesting sights he had seen as of recent. Lowering his shoulders and reclining slightly, Rain gazed up at the ceiling.

“Perhaps I’ll approach that girl today…? Other than classes… that one son of Dukes had wanted to meet me after classes… and of course, the fun little party I have planned with Hoshi tonight~♪”

Rain nodded to himself.

“Yes, there should be definitely time to meet with that girl sometime either between the next few classes or after the meeting with the Dukes child.

I’m pretty sure she’ll have nothing on me but… it’ll be fun to pry some more info about what she wants from me out of her~♪”

He glanced over at where the girl in question currently stood, talking to the alien creature, and decided he’d approach once their conversation was over. From his own experiences, interruptions of discussions were rarely very pleasant ones, and Devin wasn’t nearly significant enough to inflict it on some alien being for now. The teacher’s announcement that the rest of the class would be a free period fell in line with his plans nicely as well, with how Devin would most likely not have someone to talk to for any specific reason other than himself.

Alright miss, let’s see a few more cards, shall we…~♪

"So, uh... I hate to tell you this, Vix'us," A hoomin female had approached him, boldly, "But what you're wearing is... reserved for young females. Traditionally, those in Japan... So you looked a bit... out of place. Stupid, even. Next time, try a loose shirt, with some baggy shorts, alright? It'll get people to take you more seriously."

"Ah."  He said, rubbing his beak.  "I researched on the internet that these were highly desired clothes during this so called, "Jim", period.  They were quite comfortable and form fitting."  He stretched the part of the pants that gripped at his thigh, and snapped it back into place.  A shiver was sent through his entire body.  "I shall disrobe then, if this is not the proper attire."  With a thought, the Vol'Thoo"Maranian set the clothes alight, and stood there in the buff.  His ethereal body seemed to completely be devoid of any defining feature, and gazing at his body would be like gazing through the night sky.  "I hear that Jim is a great time to exercise one's body physically.  It would seem fit that we wear nothing at all."  A fire lit in his hands, as he offered it towards the girl.  "Shall I disrobe you as well?  Those clothes will just get in the way."

The next time we have class, your training begins."

Vix'us' attention snapped to Bloodstone.  He placed a hand on his shoulder, and bent a knee.

"I deeply apologize.  It will never happen again."  Unless he got lost again.

Kess's vision exploded into whiteness, shock arcing through her entire body, just as the electrical variety had pierced Mary. The next thing to follow the shock was a brief split second of pure surprise.

She did it. She actually did it.

Pain drilled into the center of Kess's head. She howled, doubling over, falling to one knee as she clamped a hand to her eye, blood drifting through her fingers as she started breathing hard, Her eye was screaming in agony, worse than the myriad of broken limbs she had suffered over the course of her life, way worse than that. Had Mary gouged her eye out completely? Was it gone? Was she unable to see out of it now? Kess didn't know, she couldn't tell, even the slightest twitch of her closed eyelid sent waves of agony cascading through her head.  But something was suppressing it. Rage.

She forced her head up, squinting blearily through her good eye. Mary lay against the wall, apparently still conscious. Kess ground her teeth together. What was her deal? This girl was weird... and apparently willing to pull the trigger. A grin managed to lace itself across her face. It looked painful.

"Alright... you get points there... you damn nerd," she hissed, struggling upright. She placed her hands in front of her, palms spread out, sparks flashing across them. The pain was fading now, still there but muted under adrenaline that rushed through her, revitalizing her aching body. "I only have fun when I'm taking those damn heroes down a peg... But you'll do."

"I think the two of you have had enough fun for now. I know you brutes are just here to cause mayhem and all, but please remember that this is, in fact, a school and not your personal playground."

"A school to teach us how to be better villains, right?" Kess shot back, her tone still predatory, but without the good-natured undertone it had had against Mary a second ago. "I'm in my own kind of class, newbie... Lesson one... Don't be a weak little waste," she hissed, leering at the girl before turning her attention back to Mary. "This one's passed with flying colors, everyone," she yelled to the room at large. "She's ready for lesson two. If they take an eye..." she began, raising a hand to trace the skin beside her damaged eye. "You give them a hand... By force."

She flexed her legs, forcing power through them. She felt electricity surge through her body, arcs of power rippling off her into the air. She took off, launching through the air towards Mary, blazing past Natalia, a hungry look in her eye as she extended a hand towards the girl.

"Consider this thrashing a compliment... Bloody Mary!" She grabbed at Mary, trying to get her grip on her. "No need, teach; If she thinks she can stand up to me she can find her way there herself. I'll get her started, though," she hissed, moving to turn and use her lightning-enhanced strength to throw Mary bodily through the hole in the wall N. Ox's entry had created, out into the hallway. She gasped for breath, staggering a bit. The effort of using her power had been tough, and she felt the pain slowly creeping back in.

She stalked towards the door, breezing past Mary, holding one hand to her eye, the other out in a resolute middle finger to the class. After she got a few feet down the hallway, she looked back over her shoulder.

"Maybe you're not like those heroes after all, Bloody Mary," she tossed back casually. "Hopefully I don't have to check again in the future... It's damn exhausting."

It would seem fit that we wear nothing at all. Shall I disrobe you as well?  Those clothes will just get in the way."

Devin gave the alien a bemused look before she broke into a fit of laughter, grabbing at her sides, rocking forward and back dramatically. She shakily collected herself and wiped the tears from her eyes, a grin on her face that might have been a little wider than humanly possible...

"Ah, that's a good one... No, clothes are pretty essential for those of us that aren't so... special. Even for villains, stripping might not be the best idea." Wiping the grin from her face, she finished regaining her composure, and smiled at the creature. "Besides, clothes can be cute! In fact... the same outfit looks quite nice on me, doesn't it?"

As the instructor spoke and informed them of their free time, Devin gave Vix'us a polite nod before walking away, taking a seat on the bleachers as she waited for the period to end.

Well, he should be plenty of fun to mess with. Just so long as I don't get him into actual trouble, I should be fine...~

She glanced at Rain as well, wondering if he had taken the bait, though he seemed aloof enough. She thought it was a bit of a shame, but she would still be able to get her answers in time.

Mary's swirling emotions were reaching a fevered pitch when suddenly..."I know you brutes are just here to cause mayhem and all, but please remember that this is, in fact, a school and not your personal playground."

Soon after the teacher addressed the girl and she was forced to bring herself down from cloud nine to respond to her.

Once done her gaze went towards the girl who had spoken to her, and she glanced down in shame. "That was rather embarrassing. I hope you don't judge us too harshly..." She began. "Maybe we...could talk later? And...we could be friends?" There was something about the girl Mary couldn't help but like. A surprising attraction. Which confused Mary and caused her to feel suddenly bashful and almost ashamed that she had made a fool of herself in front of her.

However Kess, in her specially aggressive way, tore Mary's attention back towards her. The girl couldn't help but lick her lips at the sight of Kess's bleeding eye. Knowing it must hurt ever so much...And then Kess tossed her out of the room. Mary gasped out as her back hit the ground and she clenched her body to keep from reacting too strongly. "A-ah." Was the girl's response. "Goodness, that was quite something." She muttered, her voice breathy and ragged. She managed to get herself up and she waved towards the class. "I apologize for disrupting you all." She said sweetly. "I hope you don't think too poorly of me." She finished before heading out. Giving one last glance at Natalia before she went.

Two new entries came into the gymnasium...one of which Victor wished he never had to see. He felt sick to his stomach at seeing Vix wearing what can only be described as a Japanese school uniform...for girls. Never in his life did he want to pluck out his eyes more so than right this very second. The other one, however, Mandy Leona, seemed a bit different. Luckily she wasn't as strange as Vix was...thank the maker.

Victor made sure to keep a mental note of what Bloodstone said, then again, he had no plans to actually be late for this class or any other for that matter. He knew he needed to get ahead in this life as an aspiring villain...and if he was the only one who took things seriously, then so be it.

"So..." Victor turned towards Akira. "Am I the only one who honestly wants to find bleach to pour in my eyes after seeing Vix like that?" he asked shaking his head slightly. "All seriousness, wasn't exactly expecting Bloodstone as the teacher for this class."

"Understood, ma'am." Mandy said with a small smile. "Wouldn't miss a chance to be taught by you, Bloodstone, ma'am."

She wasn't wrong, to be honest. She only spoke the truth, and when Bloodstone spoke it was almost like poetry in motion. She had read and heard everything about her before in the news and social media, but hearing her in person...it was just beautiful.

Nevertheless, she took out a small file and started to take care of her one nail after she shot off one earlier. To be honest, not everyone here looks great...what a bore. And what's more...that space chicken just stripped...that's not something anyone should ever have to see. Hmph...

As Vix'us and Mandy did their late introductions, Randall couldn't help but shake his head. He wasn't all that impressed with either of them - or with anyone else, for that matter. Was this all this school had to offer to compete with the one and only Randall? It was almost cute how pathetic it was.

Bloodstone announced that class was going to be short, and that the rest of the class was basically free period. That was a bit disappointing, although all of his classes had been cut short so it wasn't all that surprising. Deciding that it would be wasteful to talk to any of these clowns, Randall decided that he was going to take on his own P.E. regiment, as he looked for a rather empty spot in the gym. The task didn't take long as he began to do some push-ups and pull-ups before the period ended.

Natalia scoffed when the teacher jumped in after she had. She made a mental note; authority was the same here as it was back home - spineless or corrupt, usually both. "A school to teach us how to be better villains, right?" The electrical one barked back at her, causing Natalia to scowl at the girl. She was about to tell her off but she kept running her mouth, going on and on about some nonsense she couldn't care less about.

Then the other one spoke. "That was rather embarrassing. I hope you don't judge us too harshly..." This one was more polite, almost too much. "Maybe we...could talk later? And...we could be friends?" She was getting a kiss-ass sort of vibe from her - Natalia wasn't sure who of the two she found more annoying. Natalia let out a sigh, and was about to respond.

However, as she felt the air wizz by her, she saw the other girl had slammed "Bloody Mary" through the hole left by N. Ox. The girl seemed to be on the brink of collapsing after sending Mary through the wall - she probably expended all of her energy during their little "fight". Natalia shook her head.

"Is class always like this with those two?" Natalia asked the rest of her classmates. "Actually, don't answer that." She turned to them. None of them felt like stopping the little show that had happened, probably because they didn't care. "This is gonna be rough..." She muttered to herself, regret creeping back on her. She shook her head - she knew that giving up wasn't an option.

  • 2 weeks later...

Arleigh

Arleigh watched with an empty expression on her face as her other classmates either displayed their powers or attempted to get away with not displaying anything. One student in particular attempted to get away with doing nothing, but Bloodstone wasn't going to have it. A loud shot rang through the classroom, and Arleigh's eyes widened with a youthful excitement as she witnessed a gun-- a real life, actual gun that fired real life actual bullets.

"Oh! Oh! What make and model is that? Are there are any modifications? What caliber? Is it standard? Is any excess metal shaved down to balance the weight? What brand of oil do you use?" Arleigh said in breathless excitement, bouncing on the spot at Bloodstone's heels, but ultimately she was completely ignored.

"...Again, we have short classes today, so spend the rest of the period as you see fit. The next time we have class, your training begins." Bloodstone continued, one palm non-chalontly on Arleigh's forehead to keep her from getting any closer to the gun.

"Phooey," Arleigh said, giving up and kicking the non-existent dust on the floor as she skulked away. "I wanted to play with the gun." Feeling the boredom wash over her, Arleigh scanned the class until her eyes fell on Randal, and remembered what kind of a scene that one child makes. Underneath her mask, a wide and wicked smile spread as she walked over. The boy had walked over to the corner of the gym and began to do his own regiment of push-ups and other exercises.

"Hi I'm Arleigh, your name was... what was it, Randall Pukes, right? I liked the part where you showed the ground who's boss and gave it what it deserved." Arleigh said in a tone that, intentionally or otherwise nobody could really tell, dripped with several degrees of sarcasm.

Dr. Claw, the Great and Terrible

"It is the east, and I, Dr. Claw, the GREAT AND TERRIBLE, am the SUN! ARISE, FAIR SUN, AND KILL THE--" Rusty announced, entering Theatrics very clearly and obviously late. He had burst through the door with a dramatic entrance, squeezing the hulking frame of his robotic suit through the relatively small space of the door. However, he paused mid-sentence to discover that nobody in the classroom was even close to paying attention to him. The classroom, in fact, was in a state of destruction that caused Rusty to blink his eyes a few times as he scanned his surroundings.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Rusty managed to get through the door completely and managed to have his machine stand at its full height. "What is a villain to do with a fashionably late entrance if everyone in the vicinity is preoccupied with nothing but the entropy of unruly rough-housing?!"

"Today's classes are shorter than normal, so we're focusing on getting the students familiar with each other." Turning her attention back to the class, Bloodstone gestured toward the man who had rather loudly made his presence known, and said "As my teaching aide for this class has already taken the liberty of introducing himself, I'd skip him under most circumstances. However, it was a half-assed and sloppy introduction that didn't tell you anything. For those of you who don't know, Haken here - otherwise known as Muramasa, the second-most-powerful villain of today - has the ability to take a hit and then return it with double the force he was put through. Make an active effort to not follow his drunken example, and make it to this class on time. Not that all of you made it on time today anyway."

"You flatter me, Kidney Stone, but you don't gotta be so formal, ya know?" Daichi said as he took another swig. "You'll never get a man with that stick so far up yer ass, ya know?" He looked around before drinking even more. "Oxie told me there were some worthy lookin' challenges this year, but these students look so pathetic. Guess they all live today," He muttered.

"... I don't know who's scarier any more...," Akira muttered. Before more could be said, however, the bell rang, signalling the end of class.

"Is class always like this with those two?" Natalia asked the rest of her classmates. "Actually, don't answer that." She turned to them. None of them felt like stopping the little show that had happened, probably because they didn't care.

"I mean, it's the first day of school, and the first time any of us had met. I don't think we could give that answer anyways," Inu commented from his desk.

I could answer that, or any other question you have... for a price," Vichear offered. However, before he could offer more, the bell rang.

The Lunch Room was  packed with students of all shapes and sizes. Most were in a very disorganized line, more of a crowd than a line, waiting for Mr. Rotten to give them a good helping of food, but others were already at the tables eating. Patrolling the lunchroom were three members of the Discipline Committee, but only one really looked like he was trying to do his job.

"Where is Zoey?" The white haired boy with one horn sticking out of the right side of his head, his hand cupped under his chin. "She should have met us here to do patrols,"

"Eh, don't worry about her. She's probably just hanging around," a hoodie wearing boy said as he snatched some food from a weak looking person, munching on it.

"Yeah," the final member, a tall, stocky man whose movements were strangely stiff, commented. He swiped the money of some bypassing student as he walked. "she'll catch up," The first boy nodded as he turned to look at them.

"Yeah, that makes sense... I guess we sho---," He paused as he saw what his partners were doing. "Put those back,"

"If you think they want them," The hoodie boy said as he tossed the half eaten food back at the owner.

"... I found this money," The stiff man said. The white haired boy sighed and shook his head. He was surrounded by irresponsible bastards!

Meanwhile, a purple skinned teen with black hair head to the crowd. One person noticed him, and tapped the shoulder of another, and they began to move out of the way. It was like a chain reaction, the sea of students suddenly split like the Red Sea in front of Moses. Only a few stragglers were left, one including Inu, who was too busy tapping his foot and staring at the line in front of him, but his hair began to stand on edge.

Before anything else could happen though, the boy wearing the purple hoodie, the one that ruined Randy's project, pulled Inu out of the way in time.

"Who the hell, don't funking touch me, you---!" Inu raised a flame covered fist as the boy cowered.

"W-wait, wait! I-I can explain!" The boy said panicked before he grew his extra eyes and horns. "hølḋ øṉ τhεɾε ƒlαṃε ρυρ. ïτ'ṡ ṃε," The hellhound relaxed when he saw the demonic figure.

"Migar, is that you? Damn, I haven't seen you since you answered a demonic summoning. So... what's with the frail human body?" Inu seemed happy to see a demon, which struck some of the other students as odd.

"вαṡïсαllÿ, ï ṡhøυlḋ hαṿε lετ ρ'τεεɾ αṉṡώεɾ τhε сαll. ģøτ вøṉḋεḋ τø τhïṡ ώεαќαṡṡ lïττlε ṡhïτ. ḋøεṡṉ'τ εṿεṉ ώαṉτ τø вε hεɾε, сαṉ ÿøυ вεlïεṿε τhατ?"

Elsewhere, Akira was standing by Victor, going on about something about a rivalry or something, before he noticed that purple skinned boy that the class was splitting for. "Oy, who is that?"

"Well, I heard rumors about him," Ali Nitsua appeared between the two, causing Akira to leap back in shock. "They say he's the son of N. Ox,"

"Yeah, good ol' Ryuuken is a pretty big, anti-social deal around here," Katie commented, appearing on the other side of Akira, causing him to leap up and land in Victor's arms. "No one knows who his mom is. That's what we all wanna know, because like, who would funk N. Ox, right?" She said as she took a bite of her apple. "Still, he's probably the most powerful student in school. Inheriting the powers of the number one villain does that,"

When Ryuuken got his lunch, the sea of students crowded back together again, and soon got their food. Devin would notice that Robbie gave her some extra banana pudding compared to the other students, but other than that, he was as fair as possible when it came to food portions, trying to give everyone enough to fill them up for the rest of the day.

Lunch truly had begun.

So lunch has started now, and you'll have maybe 2 or 3 rounds here, that's it. I gave a lot of characters for people to interact with, including some Displinary Members for those that want to deal with them and a strongest student, for those that want to... confront him. Have fun. Throw food if you have to, I don't care.

-Before Lunch-

"As my teaching aide for this class has already taken the liberty of introducing himself, I'd skip him under most circumstances.

"You flatter me, Kidney Stone, but you don't gotta be so formal, ya know? You'll never get a man with that stick so far up yer ass, ya know? Oxie told me there were some worthy lookin' challenges this year, but these students look so pathetic. Guess they all live today,"

Mental note made... Victor nodded, glancing at Muramasa. Yeah, drunk and a powerhouse...he wanted to make a comment about him being like a normal white, drunken white man, but he refrained.

"... I don't know who's scarier any more..."

"It's a school of villains, Akira." he whispered, patting his shoulder before turning at the sound of the bell. "You should be afraid of everyone."

-Lunch Begins-

Upon entering the lunchroom, and seeing the student populace being out in full force right now, Victor stood there with Akira standing right beside him. He was going on and on about the rivalry he now had with Victor, or something to that effect. Either way, he heard the young man stop suddenly and pointing nonchalantly at a purple skinned boy.

"Oy, who is that?"

"Beats me..."

"Well, I heard rumors about him. They say he's the son of N. Ox."

Victor was taken back by this sudden person appearing between him and Akira, as it was almost scary that they appeared like that without him even hearing a peep or a creak from them. But that wasn't the half of it...

"Yeah, good ol' Ryuuken is a pretty big, anti-social deal around here."

Katie now spoke, which obviously made Akira freak...given how he shrieked and jumped into Victor's arms, like some sort of late 60s/early 70s cartoon. Of course this caught Victor off guard, and almost off balance, but he managed to keep it together. J-Jeez...

"No one knows who his mom is. That's what we all wanna know, because like, who would funk N. Ox, right? Still, he's probably the most powerful student in school. Inheriting the powers of the number one villain does that."

"Hmm...inheriting powers is one thing, though." Victor spoke up, watching Ryuuken walk off. "The true test is if he knows how to properly use and control his powers." He was going to take a step, but remembered he still had Akira in his arms. With a sigh, he moved his arms slightly and feigned ignorance. "Whoops...curse my weak upper body strength..."

Akira let out a groan after being dropped in that manner. "Ha... How do you expect to make things if you can't carry your own equipment?"

"Propellers...wings...jets. Or they'll be able to walk and carry themselves. After all, isn't that what yours happen to do, Akira?" Victor retorted. He wasn't wrong, but at the same time, he decided to let this conversation go on, not really wanting to admit he purposely dropped him. What would be the fun in that?

"Gotta build them first, and if you can't carry your own equipment while a hero chases you, you've pretty much lost your things!"

"Fairly certain I won't be carrying too much heavy equipment in the field." Victor shrugged, tossing his hands into his pockets. "It would make things harder if you needed to take a lot of heavy equipment into the field with you at all times."

This drunken mess was a teaching aide to this class? For Bloodstone? This was just sad. But whatever...

Before anything else was done, however, the bell rang and class was over. Mandy lingered a bit, debating on whether or not to confront Bloodstone on her possibly taking her under her wing and being her student aide. After debating on it, she sighed and shrugged slightly.

No point in doing it right now. I'll get a start on that first thing tomorrow. Perhaps then I'll be able to confront her about it.

iU8EggM.png

-Lunch Begins-

Mandy didn't waste much time in the line, she would at least wait until the line died down to get herself something to eat. There wasn't any point in waiting in line when one could just wait for it to have way less people in it and just go up after. She was patient when it came to things like this.

She decided to take a seat at a secluded table, to where she propped her feet upon it and took out her file to take care of her nails. However, all the while, she was glancing and staring at the three guys that seemed to be friends or something: hoodie-boy, one-horn Magee, and monkey-boy. They seemed interesting to say the least, especially one-horn Magee.

Well at least there's SOME good views around here. Mandy thought, having a small smile appear on her face.

Lunch - Cafeteria

Theatrics had come and gone with little... scratch that, it had come and gone with some degree of incident. Kess and Mary were sent off to the nurse's office and everything, and Camille stuck around after the bell to help clean up the mess the two had caused. She passed it off as wanting to help the teacher - get in her favor and all - but the reality was she wanted to get a taste of that electric girl's blood. It had a very specific oomph to its taste, probably to do with her electric powers. And it was sour! Very sour! But not too sour. Just the right amount, in fact. Before now, she'd only gotten to try out blood from donors or "volunteers" whose names and faces she didn't know. Maybe it was because she knew who Kess was, but this was by far the best blood she'd ever tasted.

Hopefully she gets involved in plenty of bloodshed to come! Camille had rounded up all the blood into a small bag Carnivile provided when cleaning it up. One of the perks to being a vampire was she didn't have to stand in a line and wait for Mr. Rotten's food like everyone else. It was just a hunch, but getting food from somebody named Rotten seemed like a bad omen. Besides, his blood was probably far too spicy for her liking, based on her knowledge of how one's personality affected blood taste.

Anyway.

Camille glanced over the people in the cafeteria. There seemed to be a couple of guys up to no good, making trouble and all. She wasn't much of a fighter, but even if she was, she would have preferred not to fight them. No need to scare mother like that on the first day of school. Powerful vampire and respectable magician though she may have been, there was no telling how Ms. Leroux would react to Camille getting into a fight so soon. Send her away to a different school in a different city? But then she couldn't get any more of this delectable blood! No thanks.

Just as the bell rang to signal the end of fourth period, two girls found themselves walking into Iron Maiden's office. The air inside the room had a chill to it not unlike a hospital waiting room, and as the two entered, a woman in a chair turned to face them. She seemed to be more machine than human by now. This was Iron Maiden, the school nurse. If Kess or Mary listened very closely, they could hear a tiny buzzing noise surrounding them.

"Would you look at that? More injured students on day one. I've already got specially-designed nanomachines looking you over to see what's wrong, but..." The woman's one remaining eye shifted toward Kess in particular. "I don't think I need them to see what happened to you. Don't consider your new cyclopean nature as being common ground with me. Have a seat, you two." Something behind the nurse's eye flashed a couple of times, before she turned to the computer at her desk, typing something. If either of the students were curious enough to take a closer look, they'd see it was a database of files on Center Lowhaven High's students. Sorted by student name, of course.

"Commencing facial search..." she lowly muttered, more to herself than to her new arrivals, as folders and images began appearing and disappearing on the monitor at a rapid pace. Eventually, what seemed to be Mary's file appeared and remained on the right side of the screen. Kess's file showed up not long after. "Mary Bourque and Kessandra Branwen... hemomancy for Mary, and Kessandra uses electricity. Fascinating. That one has potential to be my most successful upgrade yet."

"My nanomachines have finished analyzing you girls. Mary Bourque, mild electric shock. You were able to walk here as it is, so you'll be fine. Walk it off. I can give you something if it really is that unbearable, but I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. Kessandra Branwen... well, obviously, your eye's been gouged out." Getting up and making her way to a nearby cabinet, Iron Maiden pulled down a small bottle of pills, before taking one out and extending a metallic hand back toward the girls. "Take this for the pain. One-time medication. If you eat it right now, it should run its course by the end of fifth period, but try not to use your electromancy in the meantime if those currents originate from inside your body. I should have a patch for your eye socket somewhere, but if you'd like something a bit more functional, we can arrange some surgery to install a cybernetic eye instead. I've never upgraded somebody with electric powers, so needless to say, it would make for an interesting experiment. Assuming it doesn't lead to your excrutiating demise, of course."

Mary felt herself awkwardly walking along with Kess as they headed for the Nurse's Office. What was she supposed to say? Wasn't this where they were meant to get to know each other? Or was that what that thing earlier was? Were they already advancing along on their friendship and Mary didn't even realize?

They reached their destination before she even knew it. Inside was a woman, or rather part of a woman, who was evidently the nurse. Mary was a bit sad to see all the mechanical parts that the woman had. How could she possibly feel any pain when she was like that? What was the point of a life like that? It was all so sad...

The woman gave her a diagnosis rather quickly. Which was that she was, sadly, perfectly okay. Kess seemed to be getting to have all the fun things happen to her. Mary spoke up, a bit nervously, as the nurse finished up talking to them. "A-are you sure there's...nothing that needs to be done to me? Perhaps some kind of surgical thing? Something...potentially painful?" She blushed as she asked. When had she gotten so bold?

"Besides, clothes can be cute! In fact... the same outfit looks quite nice on me, doesn't it?"

The words of that hoomin girl resonated in his mind.  What did it mean to 'look nice'.  The context was rather positive, as the female seemed happy with her appearance.  However, he had been content with his own in that particular outfit.  Did he not 'look nice'?  He scratched the top of his beak, as he made his way towards the cafeteria, where a sea of students met him.  The waves of flesh scattered to form an incoherent line to grab at any sustenance they could get there hands on.  Vix'us waited patiently in line.  He saw most of his classmates from gym and robotics, but still hadn't known most of their names.  Mary wasn't here for certain.

Whilst he stood in line, the wave of student's parted, and he did the same.  Was it a hoomin custom?  A rather large student made his way through the line, passing all the others who had made it before him.  Vix'us reached out telepathically to all those in his immediate radius.

"Is he the Chief?  Is he your Master?  If so, he seems rather rude."  The student was almost just as tall as he was, if not taller.  Vix'us narrowed his eyes as he watched the student sit down.  He heard the other voices of students describing the oddity among them.  His named was Ryuuken.

"No one knows who his mom is. That's what we all wanna know, because like, who would funk N. Ox, right? Still, he's probably the most powerful student in school. Inheriting the powers of the number one villain does that."

Vix'us grabbed his meal, and moved to grab a seat.  He looked for Ryuuken among the crowd, and saw where he sat.  It figured that he was by himself, the other hoomins too afraid to approach.  However, Vix'us feared no hoomin.  He sat himself in the chair straight across from Ryuuken.  He picked up a hamburger that he obtained from the lunch line, and placed it under the tip of his beak.  The burger was instantaneously absorbed, as if through a sort of straw with a vacuum on the other side.

"I hear you are the strongest out of these pathetic hoomins, Ryuuken.  I hate to break it to you, but that position has been refilled by the great Vix'us.  But I shall let you join me as second best...it's the best I could do for a hoomin.  If you help me conquer Eerth, I'm sure I can give you a decent life as my pet."

╔══════════════╗
4th Period
Theatrics
╚══════════════╝

"Ah..." Elita just watched the commotion coming from the others in the classroom, the sudden eye gouging not seeming to mind the girl too much as she let her hands cross over her desk. She remained quiet as she closed her eyes, speaking softly to herself "I see there is still much work to be done... Mari will give me strength to handle this task."

She folded her hands on her desk as she quietly watched the spectacle unfold the rest of the way, her hands carefully running along one another, alternating which one was on top as she did. Her Goddess had brought her here, that much she knew. The display of pure, unadulterated violence she had just beheld had certainly cleared her mind of any doubts on that. It was too late for her to show any apprehension, any fear would cause her to become overwhelmed. Instead, she focused her attention towards the future. Unfortunately, the whirlwind of emotions that was filling the room was getting to her a bit.

Anger. Pleasure. Was that a hint of fear she sensed in someone? There was more than a bit of boredom. Such a tremendous rush of emotions would have overwhelmed her any other time, but now... Her own emotions were on edge, a foreign sensation to her. No, she didn't have time to bask in the feelings of others. She would just have to persevere... At least until lunch.

╔══════════════╗

LUNCH

╚══════════════╝

With lunch, Elita was given new energy to grasp the day with. Her morning may have been a rough start, getting lost in the city, being kidnapped by some strange people, joining a classroom in full swing of a rivalry between two girls... But now, she could focus.

She made her way through the line patiently, her hand brushing her hair out of her face as she took the serving from Rotten with a little smile, "Thank you..." She didn't stick around long with him, quickly making her way through the crowd, doing her best to avoid any unnecessary contact with people as she glanced around the busy lunch room. The lunch crowd parted for the imposing figure entering it as she made her way back out into the main body, holding onto her lunch tray as she made her way to a table to settle down quietly. She hummed as she began to listen in on the conversations around her, taking note of anything that sounded... Particularly interesting.

"She should have met us here to do patrols."

"Eh, don't worry about her. She's probably just hanging around."

Patrols were definitely interesting, those with power were the ones who generally did that. Authority and control were always something to keep an eye out for. One of them was missing, no less. Perhaps she should keep watch on this little group, there could always be an opportunity to perform a little miracle, if their missing link comes back injured. In a place like this, that was more than a possibility.

Her attention kept on those three, but drifted around the room now as well. The loudness of it would have bothered her if she hadn't had the time to mentally prepare for it, but for now she can handle the chaos. So many hotheaded sorts, so many people who want to be the worst they can be. Mari's light truly had been abandoned by these people, same as the rest of the world. Her gaze turned back to the lunch line, watching those who were coming out of it as she nibbled on the food she was provided.

"Hi I'm Arleigh, your name was... what was it, Randall Pukes, right?" Randall's eye twitched as he stopped his pull ups to look at who dared insult him. "I liked the part where you showed the ground who's boss and gave it what it deserved." His eyes lit up in rage as he got up, glaring at Arleigh.

"Listen here, bi‌tch." He barked, getting close to her. "First of all, its Dukes. Not Pukes, Dukes! D U K E S!" He clenched his fist. "And I'm about to give you what you deser-"

As he spoke, the bell rung. Class was over, and it was lunch. Randall scoffed, putting his hand down. "Saved by the bell." He muttered, shaking his head He walked past Arleigh, before stopping. "Next time we meet I'll teach you what happens when you speak down to Randall Motherfu‌cking Dukes!" Angrily, he stormed out of the room.

x393wz.jpg

As he entered the Lunchroom, he saw just how nutty the school was. His attention, however, was immediately grabbed his attention was the large purple kid that seemed almost be splitting the sea of students as he walked. He overheard someone talking about who he learned was called Ryuuken, son of N. Ox. "Strongest student? Heh, My ASS he's the strongest student! That grapefruit motherfucker doesn't even compare to the power I have!" He muttered under his breath, although it was loud enough to cause some of the students around him to step away from Randall, other shaking there head. Randall grinned as he got his food - he knew exactly where he wanted to sit.

When he got to Ryuuken's table, he saw that it was basically empty - which came to no surprise to Randall. What did surprise him was that bird brain was there, right in front of where Ryuuken and where Randall had planned on sitting. Vix'us has beaten him to the punch as he challenged the purple kid.

"You too, bird brain?" Randall said, taking a seat next to Vix'us. He was annoyed that he wasn't the one to challenge N. Ox's child, but he couldn't help but grin. At least not everyone here was a pus‌sy. Maybe bird brain wasn't as bad as Randall thought. That, or he was stupider than he looked. Either way  "Sorry to break it to ya, though, but I'm the strongest one here. That goes to you too, grapefruit!"

Natalia turned to Inu as he commented. "Last time I checked this isn't the first class of the day. Although I guess it is possible that this is the first time these two have met..." She shook her head, before turning to Vichear. Before she could inquire more about what he was talking about, however, the bell rang. "...we'll talk later." She got up from her seat, heading towards the lunchroom.

She had gotten to the lunchroom late; there was no point in rushing just to wait in line. Just as she expected, the line was relatively short. As she got in line, what caught her eyes were a trio of boys; most of them looked like they were up to no good. Her eyes drifted from the boys to a lone table, where there was a girl apparently checking them out. Notably, it was one of the few tables that had open spots. The girl at the table was... well, she seemed like a regular ol' girl, at least compared to the crazed girls she had first encountered. She wasn't all that happy to interact with villains, but she might as well try and make some friends here. How else would she learn to be as ruthless as they are? She made her way towards the secluded table.

"Not sure what you see in those three." Natalia said, taking the seat next to Mandy. She took another look at the boys before turning to Mandy. "Well... at least the one with the horn isn't too bad." She took a small bite of her food, before turning away from the boys and towards Mandy. "Oh, where are my manners? My name is Natalia." She extended her arm for a hand shake towards the girl, softly smiling at her.

Before the supposed 'Strongest Student' could respond, another student had taken a seat at the table.  The aura around the hoomin child who had seemed full of arrogance and ignorance.  The two often went claw in claw.

"You too, bird brain?"

Ah...his first insult.  At least, the only one he had heard up until now.  It must have been, seeing as how he was comparing his brain to that of a native Eerth avian.  He had to admit, some of his physiology did resemble that of the aforementioned creatures, but..

"I assure you, hoomin...the Vol'thoo'maranian anatomy is highly superior to that of your sapien self.  I would advise you keep the insults to a minimum...should you not want to lose the particular anatomy that resides in your mouth."

"Sorry to break it to ya, though, but I'm the strongest one here. That goes to you too, grapefruit!"

Another breakthrough...he had yet been able to demonstrate his powers in this school.  His hand crashed onto the table in front of him.  He was surprised, but this Eerthling was getting under his Vol'Fire covered skin.  His people were peaceful, and his parents had taught him restraint and respect, but coming face to face with the exact opposite...it was a tad bit frustrating.  Vix'us mind boomed in the two's heads.

"Surely...you can't comprehend the depths of my power.  It is as ancient as the universe...yet you still insist that you are strong, even though you are hoomin.  Pathetic."  One of Vix'us' talons drug itself along the tabletop, as a line of fire lined itself, keeping pace with his claw.  "I would never demonstrate the full extent of it...truly I don't know if there is one...and If I did...you would be vaporized in an instant."  Vix'us thought shattering voice lowered itself.  "I can assure you, hoomin...I am the strongest among you students.  Perhaps even the faculty itself.  It would explain why your top dwelling residents were so afraid of me....and contained me."  The fire on the table grew brighter, and flickered intensely.  "If you pledge loyalty to me now...I'll disregard that insult earlier, and allow you the same privileges as Ryuuken here."

Arleigh

"Listen here, bi‌tch," Randall barked, getting close to Arleigh. "First of all, its Dukes. Not Pukes, Dukes! D U K E S!" He clenched his fist. "And I'm about to give you what you deser-"

Arleigh's eyes had began to flash a bright amber and dark smoke twirled around her arms when the bell rang, and in an instance the smoke and glow both vanished.

"Saved by the bell." He muttered, shaking his head as he walked past Arleigh, before stopping. "Next time we meet I'll teach you what happens when you speak down to Randall Motherfu‌cking Dukes!"

"Oh that's a nice middle name," Arleigh said with the most subtle hints of disappointment in her voice. "I'll be sure to remember that."

Arleigh stood through the lunch line with a perfect, polite silence, accepting a portion of every food that was on offer for that day and walking to the tables with a surprisingly large mound of food. There was some sort of kerfuffle going on in the lunch room as someone barged in and whispers spread through the room that they were some sort of big boss of the bunch.

Arleigh sat down at a legitimately random table and only found out soon after sitting down that it was the same table as Randall Motherfucking Dukes. Both he and that alien got into a yelling match over who was strongest. Meanwhile, Arleigh sat in relative silence, her mask set aside with her large star-shaped scar on full display as she ate.

"Who cares," Arleigh said through a mouthful, chewing. "Are you both really so insecure that even just the rumor of someone being stronger than you sets you off?" Arleigh swallowed and looked up at Vix'us' and Randall, then pointed at Randall with her fork. "You don't have to answer, I already know we're going to get along so well."

Dr. Claw, the Great and Terrible

Class had ended before it could even begin, and Rusty had left the room with an overall empty feeling in his stomach, but as the bell for lunch rang he realized the irony in his own thought and was thankful he had kept it to himself.

His mechanical suit was, despite all intents and purposes, very clunky to use in day-to-day life. Being roughly over nine feet tall, the suit banged through the lunch room loudly as he shuffled through the line with the small tray pinched between the two fat fingers of his robotic hand. As soon as he had reached the front of the line, he whispered as best as he could the specially requested meal for him, and the person serving handed him a plate that was full of Fancy Feast cat food.

"Would you like for the can as well?" The worker asked, beginning to hold up the can of cat food.

"That won't be necessary, thank you," Rusty responded hastily, prompting the worker to lower the can back down with a shrug. He walked over around the edge of the room and scanned the tables, acknowledging that the weight of his machine was going to be too much for the seats at the tables, and his body too large to sit at them. Not that it mattered, anyways. He was already seated inside the machine. Making sure that nobody was looking, Rusty held the tray of food up to a slot near the helmet that opened discreetly and just wide enough for the dish of food to slot through. A pair of small gloved paws reached out and snagged the tray with haste, pulling it back inside as the sounds of eating and purring could be heard from inside just barely.

A small trio of students seemed to already find themselves in muscle-flexing contests, and Rusty scoffed as he watched the discourse take place. "Primitive apes," he chuckled. "Their barely developed cortex doesn't even comprehend the futility of their little display, and the meaningless lack of application it ultimately has towards their final goals. And you would think an otherworldly creature such as that would have the evolutionary advantage to realize just as much, but it seems that maybe the reason humanity has had such difficulty contacting intelligent life in the cosmos is because such life doesn't truly exist!" Rusty giggled obnoxiously at his own non-joke as he licked and polished off the dish clutched in his hands from within his robotic suit.

Ryuuken ate his food, his face completely neutral as he ate. He wasn't paying attention to his surroundings, despite being surrounded by people that most likely wanted his position. When Vix'us approached him, he had no reaction, still eating the burger he had. He didn't even turn to look at him.

"You too, bird brain?" Randall said, taking a seat next to Vix'us.

That goes to you too, grapefruit!" Ryuuken paused at being called grapefruit, but all he did was swallow his food.

"Ah, I see... freshmen," Ryuuken finally said with a sigh. "Guess we're doing the 'going after the biggest kid in the lunchroom' routine to try to get people to fear/respect you," He didn't sound annoyed, more like a man resigning to the fact this was something that just always had to happen. He didn't seem to care about them in general, as he was still eating his burger without even looking at the two.

"I like the way she thinks...," Ryuuken muttered before standing up, cracking his neck. He then walked away a bit, putting some distance from him and his challengers, as well as the other people in the lunch room. "Right, let's get this over with," He held up both arms, staring down at the alien and the motherfucking Dukes before placing his hands behind his back. "I want you to hit me as hard as you can. One at a time, together, it doesn't matter," He waited for for the most move to be made, but before they could move, he motioned for them to wait.

"Now, hold on. I know villains have a hard time listening, so let me repeat. Not half as hard, not some arbitrary percent of your power. I want you. To hit me. As hard as you can. Final time. You. Me. Hard as you can. Are we clear?" He then waited, waited for the first attack.

The two techies watched the muscle flexing contest go off, Akira elbowed Victor in the side. "Hey, five bucks on Vix'us,"  After getting Victor's answer, Akira's eyes drifted over, before seeing... a giant suit of armor. His eyes lit up, a high pitched squealing escaping his lips. "Be back in a bit, my eternal rival!" Akira stated before firing off a grappling hook across the lunch room. He zipped across, making sure to let Vix'us know he believed in him as he passed the alien. Soon, he stopped in front of Rusty's massive armor, looking over it.

"Dude, did you make this?" Akira asked excitedly, moving all around the C.L.A.W. to view it from different angles, but being sure not to touch it. "This is probably the best designed suit I've ever seen!" He backed up a bit, positioning his hands to look like a picture frame as he looked at the front of the suit. "And man, you have a pretty unique style of building... you're not like Dr. Cagey, who builds specialized robots and suits, this looks like it was made for a variety of situations. Do you have a teacher, or are you self taught?"

As the line finally died down, Robbie Rotten walked over, wiping his hands on a cloth and looking for a seat to eat his small meal. Most of the tables were filled, and people were shoving, but despite how nasty some people could be, no one made an attempt to touch him. If it was because he was so genuinely nice or because they feared the wrath of N. Ox was hard to determine. Soon, he found Devin, smiling as he sat down.

"Hello, my dear," Robbie said as he picked up his food. "How's the day treating you so far?" After getting their answer, he nodded. "I see, I see...," He then reached into his pocket, pulling out what looked like a orb with swirling purple energy within it. "Here, I have a test for you. He looked over to the group fighting. "The purple one will come looking for this. He won't hurt you, but I want you to hide from him. Just to help your disguise skills while it helps his searching skills, alright?"

"Hey, a fight's starting to break out," The one horned boy stated. "Come on, let's stop it," He said, rolling up his sleeve. The two with him looked at each other before looking back at the boy.

"Nah, we're good. You have fun with that," The bone boy said, with the stiff one nodding along.

"But... that's our job, this is what---,"

"Nah, man, it's only what you do. You're like, literally the only person on the squad trying to uphold the rules. All we do is bully the students, steal money from the club and hit on girls," The stiff man stated. With that, he turned to Natalia and Elita, winking as he did finger guns to them, clicking his tongue. The one horned boy sighed.

"Damn my alignment...," He muttered.

Victor glanced over, seeing now that Randall and Vix'us were talking to the one the rumors were around: Ryuuken. This wasn't looking so good at this point. It got even worse when Ryuuken entertained and answered these little talks about challenging him.

"Right, let's get this over with. I want you to hit me as hard as you can. One at a time, together, it doesn't matter. Now, hold on. I know villains have a hard time listening, so let me repeat. Not half as hard, not some arbitrary percent of your power. I want you. To hit me. As hard as you can. Final time. You. Me. Hard as you can. Are we clear?"

He stood there watching this, before feeling a small elbow in his side...which was thanks to Akira.

"Hey, five bucks on Vix'us."

He was betting on Vix'us? Victor shook his head and was about to answer, but watched as Akira was zipping off to talk to someone else who apparently was in a massive suit of armor. With a sigh, he moved over towards Akira, standing beside him and clearing his throat. "Bettin' on the space bird? Quite a sad thought..." he said, before chuckling. "Five bucks on Randall. Out of the two of them, he'll have a bit more success doing some damage." Victor then glanced at the suit of armor and made a mental note...it was actually a good looking piece of work.

"Not sure what you see in those three. Well... at least the one with the horn isn't too bad. Oh, where are my manners? My name is Natalia."

"Well, what can I say...the strange ones to me I find the most interesting." Mandy replied to Natalia, before putting her file away and smiling. She took her hand and shook the young girls in return. "A pleasure to meet you, Natalia. I'm Mandy Leona."

She glanced back over at the three, seeing the monkey-boy doing finger guns at Natalia and clicked his tongue too. A strong sigh came out of her mouth, before shaking her head. "Looks like the monkey-boy over there is trying to get your attention. Shame one-horn Magee isn't trying though..."

"Ah, I see... freshmen," The purple student said with a huff of air at the end of the sentence. "Guess we're doing the 'going after the biggest kid in the lunchroom' routine to try to get people to fear/respect you."

"I don't need respect from Hoomins.  Only blind loyalty and devotion.  Power is the only thing you apes know, it seems."  Vix'us chimed.

"Who cares," A new girl had taken a seat at the table as well.  This table was getting more and more crowded with hoomin filth.  He looked at her, his eyes unblinking. "Are you both really so insecure that even just the rumor of someone being stronger than you sets you off?"

"I assume by 'set off', you mean angered?  That's simply not the case.  It's just a simple misunderstanding that this student would be proclaimed the strongest.  I can't go around willingly allowing a Hoomin's ego to grow, when he is so grossly wrong."  Vix'us shifted his attention back towards Ryuuken.  "I just thought I would alleviate him of these notions."  It was then that Ryuuken stood up from the table.

"Right, let's get this over with, I want you to hit me as hard as you can. One at a time, together, it doesn't matter."

"Ah.  Courageous.  You think so highly of yourself, yet you don't even know my power.  You hoomins are foolish, that's for sure.  How you have survived this long as a species is a mystery to me."  Ryuuken flashed his hand up, a hoomin gesture to stop for a brief moment.  Vix'us nodded.

"Now, hold on. I know villains have a hard time listening, so let me repeat. Not half as hard, not some arbitrary percent of your power. I want you. To hit me. As hard as you can. Final time. You. Me. Hard as you can. Are we clear?"

Vix'us eyes sharpened.  Was this hoomin willing to die, right here and now?

"A strange place to rest, one final time, and be released to the Vol.  I shall grant your wish, Ryuuken."  He had to admit, he felt excited at the opportunity to finally let loose.  It wasn't as if the force inside of him struggled to be let out...but to just know what he was truly capable of...it was a stomach rumbling prospect.  He looked to the other student and nodded again.  "There won't be much left for you to attack.  My deepest apologies."  From across the room, the hoomin Akira zipped by him, offering words of encouragement.

"Good luck, I believe in ya!"

Vix'us closed his eyes, and took a deep breath in.  The black coat that surrounded him started to glow a bright blue.  He hunched over, and brought his elbows into his center.  The heat around him began to rise and expand.  It was in that moment that he was reminded of the first time he had let loose this power.  The hoomin scientists with their bright white lab coats, and sharp metal utensils, ready to rip away at his flesh.  The heat that rose from his skin soon erupted into a bright blue fire around him.  He could feel the power bubbling up towards the surface, in slight increments, and then all at once.  A giant pillar of flame shot through the ceiling above him, as he produced a sound akin to an Eerth eagle.  He stood upright, the pillar of light slowly condensing into a shell around him.  Vix'us shot his arms out in front of him, where the condensed energy traveled to form a white ball above his palms.

"Ancestors...help me."  He cried.  Ryuuken was gone.  All that he could see in front of him was the scientist.

An explosion of heat erupted from the small orb, with just a thought from Vix'us.  The energy took the form of an extremely bright rushing torrent of fire, almost liquid in nature.  The force from this attack, the last time he used it so destructively, had leveled an entire military facility.  Who knows what a focused version could do to a hoomin.

Ryuuken watched the as the bird was powering up. it was something he had seen a hundred times before. Unbridled power flaring up, causing his skin to tingle. It was a feeling he knew too well, and while this particular instant was higher than the average, it still paled in comparison to his father... and to that man...

The bird fired his attack, the torrent of flames rushing to the son of N. Ox. The strongest student didn't move to defend himself, nor did he try to move out of the way. He just let the attack engulf him. The attack kept going, crashing through the wall behind them, melting a hole through it instantly. The flames ate through everything, even some unlucky students that never saw the attack coming. There was no scream from Ryuuken, no sound.

When the attack died down, all they could see was Ryuuken, his shirt burnt off, showing off his muscles, and his pants torn and tattered. Some licks of flames remained on his body, but he didn't seem to notice. He was instead looking behind him at the giant hole in the wall, which was still smoking from the heat of Vix'us flames. He turned back to face the alien, a small smile appearing on his face.

"That wasn't too bad. You're not all talk after all," He said, dusting a flame off of his shoulder. "I actually felt some of that," he placed his hands in his pockets. "I'll have to keep an eye on you," He then turned to look at Randall. "Well, you're next, right?"
